i really wanted to share this game i had, so i will just log in to upload this video :)
as a reminder, this gamemode is only available on saturdays for ranked matches. you choose a side to play in (team, or boss), which ends up in a 3v1 battle.
i have not had proper connected vs games uploaded on this channel with all the players having improved so much, and i can finally have a reference game to share to people.
it would be a shame that this match gets lost to the void, right? 😅
as you could guess, playing for 27 minutes nonstop is exhausting. props to these players for putting such a fight, team is mostly favored against boss at top level.
that's it see you in the next blue moon again 🌙

Tetris connected itself is something else. I just couldn't resist all of it's videos on my recommended so I bought it. It's super fun!

wow I can't believe the team did so well against the no spin area. They were lightning fast in the connected zone. And it was very interesting seeing the timing tricks on the boss side, making maximum use of "no spin"

This whole battle was like a full course meal 👀 The fact that you made a full recovery so close to topping out had to have been so satisfying! I would have gone full defense and lost so fast so many times, but the aggression actually paid off for you! I'ma have to take some serious notes for when I attempt being the big bad!

It's the perfect mixture of aggression and defense, hit them with attacks until they can barely do anything, then work on defense so you can get back down to the bottom; that kind of strategic swapping is what I've been looking to understand

The Area 5 Maniac was 31 minutes for a best of three vs the AI. With that in mind, 27 minutes fir is pretty long.

I'm surprised there wasn't more effort on the revive timing, is there a reason not to try and always tap to come up faster?. Even near the end they could have gotten more uptime with more rhythm game action, but maybe they had accepted that getting another zone and trying to push lethal was too tough.

it is just internet lag, so you couldn't see others' tap (or only see some of them). I think I have 95% correct taps. Another important thing, first revive only need around 45 taps, but 3rd revive need more than 200 taps

@@xino_z That attack is timed so they can wait it out. Plus it gives the boss time to switch to defense and clear lines.

defense mode (outside of zone, where it automatically activates) only works if you have solid garbage on your board. if you don't have any, then you keep attacking. i was waiting for them to activate zone so i could start using all these attacks to further my defense for their upcoming attack. if i did not, i would have sent a blitz to them that would be rendered useless as they were about to enter zone.

@@Doremy Thanks for the response :thumbsup: I was sure you could store defense and have those orbs circulating your avatar representing it, but I just tested it myself and indeed you can’t activate defense when your board is empty.
