You are able to see the frustration in my face, Im updating as I go However learn from my mistakes and DO NOT Mig Weld your Turbo Stud. Process did not work out for me. The Rear Motor mount was pretty bad at first after break in its noticeable but not as bad as some people Claim. Had a stud break on me twice working on 2 different type r's, and found out just like you, that they studs cant be welding onto. At the end of the day, I had to drill out the OEM stud on the turbo and re tap it sadly. But once out, I upgraded to Rapage Titanuim ones and they work great.

Yeah I tried Drilling didn’t work out to well either! Been busy haven’t been able to release the other part of the video!

Broke the same stud on my FL5 with 110miles, took turbo off and drilled and tapped. Not too hard to get the turbo out. Have some good drill bits

Wonder how much vibration you'll get in a newer civic with the 90a mount. I did the poly billet mounts in my RSX and she rattles a ton at idle lol

Haha it rattles more but once the motor mount breaks in it’s not terrible, I’ll put a update video on it later on👍🏽

There are non magnetic metals, you just have to figure what alloy it is to know how to weld it. If it was rusted, I would probably rule out stainless.

Yeah not 100% which it is haha I just assumed stainless. Your probably right
