This boat has seen excellent care over her years. The Gel Coat is in very nice condition, the canvas is in Great condition. She is powered by twin Crusader 220hp. This is a great buy, the owner has priced her to sell.
I had the 1984 Mariner for 11 years and loved it. It looked exactly like this one. I was able to add a marine heater/AC unit under the forward bunk and install ducting to the main cabin. That was a great accessory for when you had dock power. Also added a fuel flow computer to monitor fue efficiency and calculate range. I'm afraid I never took it on a long cruise, but I definitely enjoyed just cruising around the intracoastal waterway. These are comfortable boats and pretty solid.
I owned a 1976 carver mariner. It cost $7500 and war rotten to the gills. But I did not have much money to invest. I loved that boat. The layout, very similar to the one in the video is perfect. when laying in the captians berth there was a window right above my eyes. I could look at the stars all night. wonderful !! This is ALLOTT of boat for the money.
