if they had the ramp the same height as the trailer and have the main gate inside the main cage to get them all in one place, i bet they would have played follow the leader
The last pig deserves to be outside the fence and the guys that tried to get a hold of it deserves to be inside, at least when we compare intelligence.
Instead of depending on the hogs to figure things out, maybe you boys could use what brains you have and do the thinking instead of leaving it up to the hogs. An inclined step up to the trailer would cut your work by about 3/4.
If you've ever done this before, you would probably know the piglets would be afraid to jump up that high of a step into the trailer. Why didn't they bring a ramp? They would probably have fallen all over themselves piling into the trailer as soon as the gate was opened.
You seriously need to redesign your pen and loading chute to make entering the trailer obvious, easy, and inevitable, without all the confusion and reversals.
● ● First time transferring from cage to trailer? In my opinion, both cage and trailer need some (minor) modifications to make the transfer much simpler. #TrialAndError
So to make it easier next time, have a stationary panel to center of ring. At the center you'll have a Tpost holding wall at that point use your swing gate hinged at the center so when ready to load you just pull rope and walk it around pushing them to the loading cage. They won't allow them to back track and please for the sake of men watching this build a damn ramp done.
Being a novice is very difficult, and moreover, the fact that the state ignores such a big problem and does not receive sufficient support and training in this regard is a great deficiency.
@@frederickschnepel1276 didn't say anything about a couch or gun (I said the hog's are smarter than these guys)these guys couldn't corral them selves. If you disagree say so and welcome to America!!
My favorite part was at 11:05 when you actually put your prod through cage and pointed, waved for which way you wanted the hog to go. Then told it "come on" ! lol then you called it stupid!
Fuck me dead! I started off wanting to watch the cluster fuck, then I wanted to stop because it was like watching a bad cartoon, then I just couldn’t help myself and had to watch to the end…..! Glad it ended before I became an alcoholic!
This video gave me a great idea for a mobile production unit built right into the trailer, it would spit out things like gloves and footballs on one side, and bacon and sausage on the other side.
You don't have to be a professional to recognize a professional. The "show me your video" response is ridiculous. They need to tweak it more than a little bit.
Rookies !! Take out that section behind the trailer and back it up directly to the corral. Put a board under the trailer's bumper. The hogs will jump into the trailer.
He called fckn idiots😂😂 he's not too smart himself, what he should of done is raised that middle section at the travel trailers height and the would of ran right in there. What a genius lmao
I can't help but say this is a very primitive antiquated system. Why not just add a sliding fence to the moving fence in the pen allowing the fence to increase and decrease in length...then you can easily 'sweep' the hogs round and out in one go...probably done in less than 5 minutes....also add a ramp or step in the small cage to usher hogs into truck. Quickly done means more beer time! :OP
Hmmm... I will DEFINITELY download this one as an instructive example of how to: 1- not be unnecessarily cruel to pigs, and 2- how NOT to get pigs to go from point 'a' to point 'b'. I can't believe you would want us to see your ineptness regarding what you were so bad at doing. But you just keep-on-keepin'-on. I will check the channel regularly for more HOW NOT TO types of video. So.. THANKS.
+James Von Wald why blame the pig? that is why they are pigs.... blame the one who design this cage to catch but forgot to design a ramp where the pigs can easily pass through. This video showed these people are more stupid than the pigs lols....
After watching this for 28 min, I began to wonder who were the dumb ones the pigs or the ones that could not figure out a better way to get them in the trailer.
Big "Pa`aloa" style trap like this makes it hard to load pigs. they can keep running back in. Here in Hawai`i pa`aloa is better for trapping feral sheep & wild goats cause you can get inside the pa`aloa with the animals & chase them into the trailer & not get torn up...
If you had a few 2×2 hole 3x6 or 4x8 panels and a 25 ' roll of chicken wire that you carried on the trailer, you could make an oversized diy electric mouse/hog persuader. Maybe pre make the panels with insulators between the 2 wires. To make for quick placement. Do you think that last hog would runback behind the gate a 100 times if he was getting lit up every time?
This guy should teach anger management classes..... he has patience for days.... not gonna lie I woulda shot the last one while laughing after I snapped
