I starting my research a year ago and I’m almost ready as far as capital to start my trucking business. I like what you guys have started. It should revolutionize trucking and I’m black and proud to be able to see what’s in our future. I would love to use the app to book loads and keep us rolling. My wife and I got the kids out the way and now we’re going to drive OTR for a few years and do some hotshot!
Brokers can cover 100 loads at a time ; is the reason they are still there. small companies or o/o s cant handle the volume of freight needing to be moved, especially if theres a 100 loads and only 2 trucks and a few trailers.
what you say is true, but the brokers are supposed to take 20 percent, but we know the numbers are more like 40 to 60 percent. The government has failed to enforce its own rules...As usual
Brilliant idea ..sounds similar to the Amazon relay app ..but with access to a broader variety of freight ..as a carrier I respect you guys appreciation for drivers. Looking forward to trying out the app.
How can you build an app for carriers & shippers and call the carriers lazy for not dispatching. That’s crazy. You guys have a solid idea, but your messaging insulted everyone except for the shipper (coincidentally the only area you want more of rn). For the record, drivers (on avg) who self dispatch are distracted more often which increases your risk of accidents. I won’t self dispatch just for safety. I can’t always stop to answer an email or update request. Calling a dispatcher keeps my focus on safety and that’s the #1 job of a carrier.
The guy Dominic pretty much was saying drivers are stupid not just lazy he was saying he’s betting on drivers to continue to be stupid that’s how he looks at it though the app may be good and he seem to keep putting his self out front and he over talks things. Thanks you so much for writing this comment , this guy want easy money while he sleep on Money of Carriers hard work and the Shipper. Brokers like him who wanted FMCSA put stop to dispatcher , and you right human error will be all high when come to Safety . He found an new way to double dip ,keeping pocket deep with taken still from Carriers, and Shippers plus monthly extra fee off Shipper membership. Greedy not smart but greedy. I wish the interview would went deep and talk more why , he want to get the dispatchers out the game.
I think that this is a great idea. First of all as Dom stated" Drivers usually have to wait to be loaded or unloaded so they will have a option of listening to sports or checking whether " this is something we do every day so why not bundle it. Google did. As long as it has driver content too it's a win. Good Work Dom ans Adren.
Some carrier don’t wanna be bothered most of the time. They want their freedom to operate their rigs peacefully Your trynna hold the carriers has hostages because they have to use your app.. How long have you two been in the business ? 🤔 not too long I guess
This is no different than foreigners coming to this country to start a trucking company... Doing what they see other people doing... A direct shipper to carrier app isn't new and I'm not buying the claim that they just "came up with this"... Riteload was created years ago by a guy in Philadelphia, PA that does this with shippers and carriers... And the fact that these guys are also from PA? Now I'm happy that these two have started this business, but I'm quite sure they've heard of Riteload and wanted to do the same thing...They just need to know that it's going to take a minute to build that large direct shipper network because Riteload has a massive head start on them... But I'll check them out to see how they're doing...👍🏾
One thing to add is they're adding a very beneficial point to this... He's using his broker experience with the shippers and the rates seem to be set...
So i hope i didn't hear this wrong...they are digitized freight brokers on an app? Isnt that just DAT? And I didnt hear where they help you make the connect directly to the shipper? I hope i didnt miss it
look at it again. im gonna look at this several times myself. does sound like DAT so youre not wrong in that aspect. maybe still not direct shipper because the shipper/manufacturer dont have time to deal with a million carriers every hour on the hour which is why there are brokers.

So am I understanding this correctly you have to use the app 100% of the time from load assignment to pick up through the entire Transit of the load and delivery? I won't dedicate my phone to use the app continuously it should run in the background. I like the idea though.
So, as a carrier I can book thru this app just like all the other apps? Only that we are leaving the broker out of the rate negotiations, just the shipper and the carrier for a small fee to the application, is this correct?

Went to the app really didn’t service my needs. Cost, app available how to actually start using app/sevice. And are loads/shippers loads like DAT where we can reach out or are THEY brokering load still?
The number they provided doesn’t even work. I tried reaching out to Dominic through IG and just calling his number. Are these gentlemen in business or not? They’re literally in my back yard as I reside near Harrisburg
Rahmel, you concept is great and the questions ask are also good, too. I have watched a few segments and the individuals/groups for the part do not past the "Smell Test". Listening to it , it seems this group is looking like a "Double Broker" or a standard Load Board.. They were talking that customers go to them because of the Technology and then further into the conversation you learn that their Platform/App is not even "Up and Running". That makes not a lot of sense when stating that they have 300 shippers / 2300 carriers. Also, look at LinkedIn, under 100 connections. Then you stump the both of them by asking "what are the challenges?". They paused for a while and then come and say building a Team (in his opening he stated this was easy). I had to stop at just over the 30 minute mark. Last one, they would acquire a broker's book of business and a number of $6 million came out as if it was minimal. But yet they do $250k monthly ($2.25 million yearly). These guys are not aware of numbers and I do not believe they know the true cost to build a platform. Dominic was talking about customer info on "Excel". Not trying to call people out but you have to make sure the BS stays in line. Rahmel, good luck and hope you have success in the future.
You need more information from people with experience at other critical levels of the industry. If not your just building a business that makes sense to you as a broker and that already exist. Good packaging won’t change a product we already have.
Think about he hate the dispatchers getting more money for the trucker, broker are always get there higher cut off the top and still is . If dispatcher is getting taken out of game, then the brokers should also. Don't hate one hate them the all. He making the load board because he want the money to continue filling his pocket deep . They already tried to stop the dispatchers this reason the FMCSA trying to make sure every family eats carrier , dispatchers, brokers. I can see where this will drive the price down horribly.itll put the pricing in drivers hands and new drivers are the worst when it come to bidding on lanes which with no in between it'll become the standard price

Exposed him about what? He asked what would will happen if a a carrier makes a direct deal? His response was he depends on carriers to be lazy. And I have seen many new drivers/carriers are intimidated by talking to brokers for whatever reason. So this platform could be big.
