Joe your making some nice firewood for the future .....you never know what Mother Nature will throw at you !! This is a very nice set up very nice Joe !! 👍👍
Thanks! The firewood can be used to heat the pool too! That is what I did yesterday, I took the scrap and odd pieces and had the pool ready for a dip tonight (85°F)! Thanks!
Just like a commercial business .....you did very good in building this operation Joe. Efficiency at its best. No extra moving or movements....Bring on the wood.....CHEERS
Good Evening Joe 👍😇👌Very ingenious fan relay 👌😇👍Great Idea about the slide curve cutting station 👍😇👌ALLO Nicola 👌😇👍Hey Hey I Know that grapple 👍😇👌💪 OUTSTANDING Father and Son Teamwork 👌👌😇😇👍👍 Very Nice Weather that you have Joe and Thank You SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much for taking the time for that Video MAan 👍👍👌😇Cheers 🍻
@@FromSteelToWood 🤣👌👍 Merci Maaan you boost up my moral Up TO THE SKY AND BEYOND 👍👌🤣✨🚀 I wonder what do you have under that brand new grey tarp at 0:46 🤔🤣👍 Cheers 🍻🍻
Good evening Joe ! There is some nice engineering in the oil cooler. The cutting station is pretty nice as well save a lot of bending. There a lot of wood in there! Thanks for the update and have a Nice day! A bientôt! Adrien
Some real nice mods on the equipment, joe. I like that spring-loaded buck machine. You planned that one just right. Man, your son has grown pretty tall since I last saw him. You sure picked a pretty day to get some outdoor splitting done. Enjoyed a full-watch. Take it easy. Don👍🏼🤠 5/9/23
Salut Joe!! The arc you put on the log shelf is a game changer eh. No more stuck chain saw. Your set up is proving to be very efficient. You are very adept at operating the excavator too!! Take care!!
The pinching bar issue is now resolved. That setup will not make me in great shape and fit though... Lol! I get better at the excavator, having more than 250 hours on it now! Thanks!
This was a great video to watch, thanks. You have a fantastic firewood system and your modifications look like they work well. The excavator appears to be much easier to load logs than the FEL on the Case. The Bolens is still looking good and I see you have the deck on for mowing, ours is very busy cutting grass this time of year
The Bolens always have a task moving stuff around! It's great for that with the rear 3pt hydraulic. The excavator has the ability to pivot on it's base, which makes it so versatile moving stuff around. Thanks!
Hey Joe, You have a great wood-cutting system. I like the new curve you put on the cutting table. Even though I do most of my firewood in the winter there are still a few trees over the course of the summer I find to cut. We are still losing lots of Ash trees here. And still, some ice storm trees to clean up. The excavator is really handy for loading up the logs. Take care
Thanks! You are always WAY ahead of me on the firewood production! I just finished cording my split wood. I did only 20 face cords this year. The remaining is for my boiler, it is 4 ft unsplit logs.
Joe, amazing, probably the coolest wood processing system we have ever seen. Your fabrication skills are outstanding. Thank you for sharing. Wow!!! All the best, Ben 🍻🍻
WOW Joe, I wonder what you could and would build if you had the help on an Engineer! Hahahaha! Great system here Joe. I especially like that 'curved rack' you've built for the logs, now that is real thinking in progress. Now all you need to think about is designing a 'radial stacker' for the split wood.
Thanks! That is a 28gpm 2 stages pump with a Princess Auto 15hp single cylinder engine. The engine barely makes it! Thanks! www.surpluscenter.com/Hydraulics/Hydraulic-Pumps/2-Stage-Log-Splitter-Pumps/28-GPM-Dynamic-2-Stage-Pump-GP-CBN-280-P-C-9-7971.axd
Wow, nice and cool set up you have there, I am looking to buy a new wood splitter, let me know if you are looking to build a custom one for a nearby client! Conrad (Clarence Creek)
