I just picked this lock (my first lock), and i searched up how to gut it so I could see what was up, and this pops up, lol. You got me into lock picking
Another exciting episode of Picked in Seconds. :) Yeah, one standard driver and four somewhat deep spools. Quite a popular lock here due to the relatively cheap price. Mind you, if the buyers saw this video they might quickly change their minds about the value of their little investment. ;)
I just got this lock to start practicing on. It makes me very happy that you didn’t get it in three seconds and that you also think there are some security pins in there!
Just keep going at it man, I had the same problem but found it much easier to get open after I took some sand paper to my picks, mind you I probably should have taken note of the binding order 😅
@@wenethmoon6587 you'd be spot on sir, it would appear to be standard no matter the size of the lock, if it's a 120, 2nd pin. Interestingly too I have a bunch of yale 110/40 type locks that have the same keyway and guess what else? 2nd pin is the standard. Thanks bloke!!!!
That was amazing! 5 pins. I have one of these padlocks and cannot get into it grrrrrrrr. I can do the car, the house but not this, maybe after your video I will bahahaha
@@Ghorda9 I can get all the pins except for the last two, tried the pick gun which I find useless and still cannot crack it. I don't know what a spool is.
@@jojozepofthejungle2655 do research on spool pins, you have to spp it, are you sure that you are even setting the other pins or are they just seizing up?
@@jojozepofthejungle2655 a set pin would be loose and will flop about when you shake it, a seized pin would just sit there , not budge and give you no feed back.
I forgot to thank you! You mentioned to sanding down my pick, I got the cheap bang goods set. Only after sanding down was I able to get it in. Thank you
I'm a newbie.. I bought this as a starter lock 120/20 (a bit smaller) to practise on.. I've since opened many others but this guy has just given me blisters !!
BANG! Finally got it.. so what was i doing wrong??? TENSION was way to much and also how far i was oversetting pins P.S - the smaller the lock the smaller the tolerance and increments in movement
Great job again. I've got a 121/50 on loan from Lock Noob (I think it's probably the same lock with a plastic cover), and it's real PITA. The bitting is 4 very low pins with #2 being extremely high, #2 won't bind until the other 4 are set, and it's far to easy to over set them. I've managed to open it numerous times, but it's extremely camera shy. I must try harder :-)
Thanks, and good luck on LM's lock. FWIW, my lock seems to like stout tension and picking pressure... otherwise, pins will drop like crazy! Also, you may be interested that my clover leaf Lockwood is on the docket for tomorrow. :-)
I have not touched the lock since we discussed it. I shot the video several days ago, before we talked... I usually shoot several videos at once, then post one per day.
That’s some good picking man !! I just got open the 120/40 but this one is a lot harder for me to get my pick in but after watching that you didn’t have any trouble lol
I just picked a lockwood 120n/40 with a bobby pin and a iPhone screw driver that is bent, it took me half a day of trying but when I got it open it took 15 minutes that try
I'm stuck on this lock ATM but I got home made tools😑, until I can save up enough for a genesis set or maybe even something more intricate, I already picked all locks in my house, now down to padlocks. Locks are the funniest puzzles 🥰
It's a perfectly good lock for the price. It should be resistant to low-skilled attacks such as raking. I doubt there are many thieves out there who are expert single pin pickers.
hi LPL i have this lock without the key and i'm trying to practice lockpicking with it .I can't push the top part down to lock it .Does that mean i need the key /pick it to lock it as well or it's defective
Thanks. The only way to show the pins is to destroy the lock, so no. I do not believe that this lock has any drill protection, but that's just an assumption.
No drill protection on this one, this is the "Kmart/Lowes" grade of Lockwood. Next models up (same sizes, better lock) which use a full size key have antidrill pins.
I legit couldn't open this for weeks, didn't try much. Got it open 3 times in about 2 mins each time. Now I can't get it again, trying for weeks again. Can't believe I got it open so easy but I even took a picture. Any tips ??
Hi Bro, where can I get this tools to open and try? What do we call them? Could you please write in comments please. I am stuck with 120/45 lock. My shed got locked out. And need your help badly.
nice lock to bad you couldn't remove the cor. i have Shurgard made in China looks like what you have there maybe a knock off? but what a. B. to single pick but easy to rake. have you try raking yours give a try..let me know nice job picking. 😎 .
I doubt this one will rake with any regularity. Between bitting and 4 spools, I would think that any open with a rake would be a very rare occurrence... but you never know. Sometimes locks surprise you.
The criminals love these videos , but in saying that , it doesn't really matter how good or expensive or how quality the lock is , with the battery operated small grinders , they just cut them . With the better quality locks and chains , hopefully we just slow them down and they may get caught , and hope they don't try and stab you then .
Just got one before noticing the shackle design, on my lock the tolerance is a bit tight and it takes some force to lock it down, so I don't think it will be very easy to shim, but it is probably doable.
