Great video. My motor has not charged in 3 years... tonight shutting it down it clanked. Locked up. Can rotate about 90 degrees making scratching, scraping sound from middle of engine it seems. I'm betting a loose magnet on the flywheel came loose. Gotta pull motor as you showed to remove flywheel. $275 for flywheel. $175 for windings... I hope that's it!
You would think a new motor, sensors, injectors, and etc. Would be better in the long game. She had some age on her, and those components are not cheap.
If you mean it's turning when you start it up. That would most likely be. Your steering pump is engaged a bit. Most likely the set bolt to your input shaft needs adjusting.
Hi. I see your video when you rebuild the Kohler engine. I try to rebuild the motor on my zero turn mower. But I can't find the pistón rings. My question is, can I use the old pistons rings oil for rebuild the motor.. the pistons rings what I need is 24-108-18s.. 80mm. 1.2 thick.. please let me know what I can do...or help me for find the new pistón rings...
If you mean replace the entire engine of course but if you mean converted to efi from what you have then most likely no there would be too many parts involved that would be not cost efficient
