It amazes me how many people don't understand the basic physics behind an eighteen wheel truck. They always blame the truck driver but it's actually impossible to turn an eighteen wheeler sharp enough to make an outside lane turn without coming into the closer lane at least a bit. This IS in the driver's handbook and is knowledge expected of anybody on the road. They honestly should make it mandatory in the road test to drive beside a truck like that

I guarantee at least one of them was NOT fine Editing to say: if youre ever in a near miss, please pull over to a safe location and give yourself time to process ... I was in a near miss, kept driving because i had nowhere to pull off to... Almost passed out from panic before i found a place to get off the road. 34:47 Is a good reminder as yo why you should leave plenty if space between you and the car in front. If youre slammed into another car because a car hit you from behind and you didnt privide ample space in front, you can be found at fault.

You know it's a pile of hoo-haw when they say no one was hurt and the car is flipping over and over. They think we're stupid or have never been in a wreck where the car rolled. You get seriously bruised, your back is never the same, the doors won't open and the car is NOT drive-able; AND that doesn't cover the mental duress and FEAR you have of EVER getting in a vehicle again , that you somehow have to get over!

One thing about getting onto the interstate that a lot of people don't realize is that the car getting on is suppose to yield, not the cars already on the interstate. It's really difficult when 2 cars are travelling next to each other then having someone merge off the ramp right in front of them.
