Hopped on for the first time yesterday. After many failed attempts of getting away through the southern canal, a player offered me to pvp another noob for a kit. Won and now I`m way out. Need some rockets though. the 14 hour queue was a highlight though.
Also remember not to be precious about your life on 2b2t - death is just a free teleport. Especially useful when you are at spawn because you can get 1k away from 0,0 which increases your chances of escaping greatly. Its also the fastest way back to your bed where your base is at when you are out exploring. Just dump stuff in enderchest and TP back by throwing yourself at a skele or creeper or into lava or whatever. Once you understand that death is just a free teleport, you really start to understand 2b2t culture.
Moss blocks make it very easy to get wood in spawn area from azeulza bushes as well as use a composer to get easy bonemeal for crops, moss growth and trees. Cod and salmon naturally spawn in the water now so it's very easy to get fish food without the use of a fishing rod. Always be cautious of Withers if your not properly gear because you can't outrun them if they spot you and also be careful of wardens as well.
I joined 2B2T for the first time yesterday, found some moss blocks and stored them into an ender chest ; didn't know moss could get me wood which I really need, thanks for the info.
Joined in June 2016 because of Rusher and here I am still learning things, great vid, and thanks for keeping it real and not overhyping things and making shit up like other 2b content creators.
Very good. I got out of spawn in vanilla, and built a base about 0.5m away from spawn - so far not found, after many years, thanks (I think) to clever placement. There will come a time when people do world downloads of up to a million blocks out, and at that point all bets are off. But for now, I think folks can have a great time on 2B, even without hacks.
I escaped spawn first try on vanilla Minecraft without hacking and mods, Firs of all i killed a couple of zombies in the over world (there are moss blocks around the spawn because one group of players have a project to (green the spawn) just mine couple of these. Than i went through a random nether portal ( i knew that there were traps but people aren't doing them rn so don't be afraid) once in the nether, I just built to a highway with the moss blocks and went 5k blocks in the nether. After that i jumped in a portal and escaped spawn in 1 hour being in 40k in overworld. It was my first experience on 2b2t and idk if it's really easy to escape spawn or i got extremely lucky
4:35 some more suggestions would be FerriteCore, Krypton and Starlight. I personally also use Chat Heads to make chat easier to read and fabrishot to take massive screenshots if I find something interesting. 13:30 I found this base and your book at it back a few months ago!
Thanks for the comment dude, really interesting! Fabrishot sounds interesting, could you ping me some examples of what it takes on discord? Also nice find on that base!
How I got out of spawn was..... I just walked. There was no running back then. Just walk. I logged in with a new account not to long ago and walked out of spawn again. It's not as hard as people make it out to be.
Word of advice from personal experiences on 2b2t: if you happen to spawn on the obsidian roof, your screwed. If you die in your first I0 attempts don't give up cause this is a hard challenge. If you make it into a safe distance you have earned your place. Always stash valuables into the ender chest. Never enter random nether portals, I/3 of them are trapped. If you can not avoid withers in the overworld, dig down and move away underground. Pickup wither roses, cause these can be later helpful. Scavenging items from other players that have met there demise, is not a shameful thing. Found lot of good gear from players that have gotten killed or wasted by unknown causes.
I think another option to survive your first day is to just get to Nether 0 0 as soon as possible and stay around people, there are at least a few there at any point. You WILL die but since you have nothing you lose nothing. Stay there until A: Some spares you and gives you some gear(much less likey) or B: wait until a pvp fight breaks out and stay near it but far enough so you dont die, when someone dies just go over there with speed hack, collect everything off the ground and got to the nearest ender chests as fast as possible then store everything. That is how i managed to escape 2b spawn and a few of the other anarchy server.(this is a method if you already have some expiriences in anarchy, you sould NOT do this if this is your first time playing any anarchy server.
How I escaped spawn ? Well at first, by understanding what "escape spawn" really means. While I thought escaping spawn was all about reaching like 10k from spawn, which is in fact easy today, it actually is to reach much further than that (600k i.e.) and build a base so you won't return to spawn when you die. Being too bold in my early hours, I tried to reach 500k using nether and horses, but died a lot, and never setup beds, leading me to start over at spawn each time. Creepers are highly dangerous being one shots without enchanted armor, mob spawn by dozens, and other players hunting you like wounded dears. At some point, I tried asking for elytras while being at nether spawn. Some people must have had pity over my naked body cuz I ended up with 5 elytras, rockets and enchanted armors & apples ! With help of an elytra bounce config gracefully given on rickson's discord, I was able to go 4 times faster than a horse, and made stops every 100k overworld to place a bed. Traveling through nether, I was lucky enough not to run into players this time, still died once of a creeper (this sneaky bast*rd was waiting behind a nether portal), but with the help of beds I was quickly back on track. Once I reached 800k overworld, I stopped and made a first real base ! That's my story !
In around 5 weeks, I will find myself with a large quantity of time, so I will be playing 2b2t PROPERLY for the first time… even though I logged in first 4 years ago. I used to be obsessed by crystal pvp, and I still like it, but I would like to get a large accumulation of items first.
Just leave the Spawn Place yesterday and start my journey as an Adventurer/Explorer. Hey fellow new players, I always search every single base I see, sometimes I leave a chest with stuffs I don't really need somewhere in the Server because I am not interested in building a permanent base, maybe you can find one. Good luck starting here, love you all!
Just started playing two days ago before seeing this video. Used Meteor client and set it up to show logs, wood, food and chests. Funnily enough I've killed myself until I was at ~2000, ~2000 and decided to take a diagonal highway out of spawn. Found some trees at like 5k, and instantly farmed diamond gear with wall hack. Loaded the ender chest with essentiela items in case of death. I got a carrot from a Zombie and farmed it over and over again with bonemeal, got some gold and made golden carrots. Walked to 10k overworld, hopped into the nether and travelled to ~100k, ~120k and began to sort things out from there. Now I am planning to visit the end in order to get Shulkers and Elytra. Will add a minimap in the next few days.
was a bit ago when I personally escaped, but I just went ~ 10,000 blocks on a diagonal, went into the nether then just kept going till I got ~X:200,000 Y:200,000 for overworld. the nether was a giant plain that I could just walk and may have changed a lot
For me escaping spawn consisted of getting a lot of dirt and then going through the nether. The only difficult part was getting from a portal to the highway with only a limited amount of blocks so I had to parkour. And just ran until I was out further around 50k overworld and then went back into the overworld through 1 of the million portals close to spawn. The only issue was that animals used to not spawn anymore close to spawn so food was reduced to bread from my wheat farm. I join a group, went to a base and got some armor, totems and blocks. From there everything was easy.
I've been playing solidly for a week. I haven't seen a single player yet. Escaping spawn was easy enough, just keep respawning until you're quite far out. Stayed off the main axis paths in the nether and made sure to be wearing gold. Elytra will be a challenge as i won't buy a kit. I've died to my own stupidity but players aren't an issue.
I escaped spawn yesterday, but it took many many attempts lol. after dying for the 100th time,i killed myself til i spawned on the obsidian ceiling and just went diagonal for about 2 - 3k out until i found a portal to go through. From there, I made my way to the nether highway and am now pretty far but free haha. If you go that route, its fairly easy but beware of all the holes lol
1-2 year ago when 2b2t was still in 1.12, i joined for the first time and managed to escape spawn first try with 0 death. Then i never logged in again after 2b2t update to 1.19 cause my fav thing about 1.12 is the old fishing loot. Before 2b2t, i played in 7b7t and got god enchantments just from fishing for 1 week straight
Yo loved the vid, but could you maybe follow it up with warning stuff, I've heard about the perma-disconnect furnace towers that are planted throughout the map, and really don't want a video series I want to do on the server be ended by stepping into the wrong place, so knowing where ban traps are would be helpful :)
Although I know I´d probably never play on 2b2t, I got randomly interested out of another video, what would be a good way of starting 2b2t? Didn´t expect to watch such a masterpiece for sure
The best way to escape spawn is beg someone to give u some stuff (elytra, rockets.food) then go to a portal and go to nether roof and fly for hours and congo u have escaped spawn! It will make more sense to play with some more friends to help!
I love how you go from "Day 1, find food and escape spawn" to "Use your elytra to travel fyrther out to hide ur base"... Like at what point do u go from find food to travel out to the milions with your elytra hacks??
@@rickson2b2t I am pretending I was new to 2b2t (I'm not actually) but if I didn't know anything about 2b2t and I just saw you say go get food and the next clip you have an elytra I would be confused af haha.
i stopped playing before the 1.19 updates so i have lots of diamond gear. im coming back but should i go back to spawn so no. edit: i also have gapples and other stuff. are they gone becuase of the item reset or not
Playing 2b2t for the first time. I bought a kit idgaf I’m not getting an elytra another way. Anyways, I’m currently a million blocks out without dying once (yet)!
wow - i've wanted to at least give 2b2t a try for years now as have been watching content about it & it's history for, well - a few years now - I think i might enjoy it.... the section on hacked clients and suggested other mods was the most helpful explanation i've ever heard on the topic. you save me hours of googling i've said "meh... some other day" to for years in a 18 min video - i know he lore...i don't know the culture - like is it sacrilegious to say i prefer sal & fastvincent's stuff more than fit's? lol. srs thank you though fr - im creating an instance that uses meteor + my usual fabric client side QOL shit as a base to build from... put up with the queue for a bit to see if i enjoy escaping spawn and actually playing the server. pay for a better client and priority if i do. thanks! like, subbed, comment lol - cheers man
@@rickson2b2t makes sense thank you. Also thanks for making such a good guide. I started about a week ago and I’m having loads of fun. It was definitely tough getting out of spawn but I’ve luckily managed to find a shulker box with a n elytra that was just lying on the ground 5k out on the nether highway! Im zipping through now, almost at 500k blocks in the overworld. Thanks again mate!
