In today's video we take a look at two small recent MOCs of mine, The Batmobile from Tim Burton's 1989 Batman, and The Batmobile from 1992's Batman: The Animated Series. These two vehicles were designed to scale with other minfigure compatible Batmobiles, and each sit a single figure, can have flame pieces attached to the engines, and will look stunning in your super hero city layout!!

Your BTAS model reminds me A lot of the model that was used in the lego Batman movie. It’s so nice looking and so clean. You did such a good job with recreating this car.

Very nice! I'm hoping for next year, the 30th anniversary of Batman TAS, that lego releases an official batmobile from that series 😁

Great work! Love the slopes and angles on both models. I actually like the occasional stud on the Burton Batmobile showing cos it reminds you that this is still Lego!

Amazing work, these are the batmobiles I grew up watching so naturally they are my favorite batmobiles. Would be cool to see you take on the New Batman Adventures batmobile. I have not seen anyone get it quite right. I will be purchasing both of these as soon as I can. Is there anyway you could modify the X wing 75301 like you did the imperial shuttle? It’s an underrated set; while it does lack in some areas it is good. It’d be cool to see how much more accurate you could make it. Keep up the good work🤝

Thank you so much!! That would be a fun idea with the x wing mod, but since I already created my own full custom x-wings I think I’d rather spend what little free time on new projects! I’ve really been wanting to make an Ornithopter from Dune for example!

Both models look really cool! How do your two moc cars scale to each other? Are they supposed to be similar in length?

Thanks as always K! I’m not sure of the official stats, but what I wanted to do was make both cars 8-studs wide so that they look like they fit in the same world as the 1966 batmobile set! I figured since the Animated series version evokes the ‘89 one quite a bit, it would be cool to have them both be similar in size. I’m sure my scale is not consistent though, it’s more that general feel of “play scale” that lego has where things can be dramatically under or over-sized and still sort of feel like they belong together

@@2bricks yeah playscale seems to mean everything is scaled to the same physical size…why an x-wing is closer to the Falcon that it really should be. 😉

Exactly! Your Batmobile is much closer to “proper” for scaling with that new Tumbler for sure. I also had really specific parts I felt would work well for certain elements and that helped define my scale too!
