First class restoration for a classy French car that's better than new. It's utilitarian design makes it a useful and valuable vehicle again, with 2CV personality.
Incredible skill and passion bringing a little joy back into the world. And yes, come to Australia, some nice old French cars need you here. Renault 12's and 16's especially were once common. Still have a 16 myself, superb car.
Very well done! It's a pleasure see people doing so good work with focus in quality, not only a beautiful paint job. I'm thinking you had few rust points in this body, taking into account you have salty roads due the snow in Europe. In Brazil we don't have snow and it's very common see this amount of rust in more than 40 year vehicles.
Many years ago I was travelling in the "outback", and there in Alice Springs (central Australia), was a young French lady travelling in her 2CV. It's a tough little car, but only a few have done that trip.
You will find the highways are top quality throughout rural Australia nowadays. Tourism is very important for the economy, so please bring all your friends too 😃
