more precisely you roll L2P for the patron (that you have to fight together with the Adept) and then you roll L2G-1. This has been answered by Toby Lancaster on bgg. BTW, I enjoy very much your videos, the choice of games, and the seriousness in mastering/understanding the rules.@@CeePhour
Oooooh ok, I see now. So even when I thought I had it figured I was wrong! 😀 Thanks! @@emmabouveret264 boardgamegeek.com/thread/3074808/level-2-canteen-who-patron
I do enjoy watching your videos. You have one of the best setups for game play viewing. One suggestion to you is to take a moment to fully read everything. You get so excited that you dont read what is written, but what you think is written. I've noticed this in a few of your videos. Other than that, keep up the good work.
59:05 Next potion of phasing? Another scroll of melt metal? BTW. You forgot to register scroll of invisibility and that you've liberated one prisoner - latter counts, even outside some side quests. 1:10:19 It's D6+5. Exact attack is not interruptible. 1:18:22 *If* you are soaked... 1:29:17 TCT1+2. You seem to mentally insert '-' between last alphabetic character and table number, whenever there is one. 1:32:26 Something right up certain Adrianglian secret agent (Ilona Andrews, Edgers Saga) alley... 1:43:49 IAUT1 sure, but that kitchen knife used through IU as throwing weapon, even with D3 damage, possibly D6 to fungal enemies... 1:51:07 Just mark it with 'O' code... 2:29:04 These are valuable offerings... 2:30:00. Again... Trap activates *if* you're soaked. You decided not to fish, so you're not...
I love the way you’re getting into the game. As you descend it just gets better. I hope you carry on videoing this even though you probably have other stuff to cover. I’m just loving your exploration of 2d6 Dungeon!
Today I played level 3, it was great fun, and I learned a lot. I also did a "real stop town" at the end and that really opened my eyes. YOU CAN BUY ARMOR?! Pushing 2D6 Dungeon hard this week because all next week my daughter has ultra-short days at school so I can't play something long like this, it's going to kill me to wait 9 days between plays (assuming Eduardo doesn't die before then :P). Having a great time with this!
The more I play the more I like this. I'm a fan of roguelike video games, and this feels a lot like a solo TTRPG (light on the RPG, just how I like it) version of one of those. Each dungeon feels like a place that I am exploring and never know what's around the next corner, not just rooms of random monsters hanging out for some reason.
Hi there. I'm really enjoying this series. I can tell you were too. By the way, is there any place I could have a look at your set up? It is sick and I am thinking about doing something similar as I really love solo games! Thanks a lot ❤
Thanks! I don't have any breakdown or pictures or video of my setup, but it's nothing special. A few cheap webcams and a microphone. It could be so much better if I had money and time to put in to it, but alas, I have neither and barely get to use it myself any longer. Work work work. :(
Loving these videos. Helped me get to play my own run of 2d6d. Seemed intimidating at first but it’s not too difficult rules wise. Anyways keep up the solo games so o can keep learning them lol
Love watching your videos for 2D6. They have been getting me through my workdays this week. One rule I noticed you are missing that would help is that after round 7 the enemy interrupts no longer apply if it involves movement.
Goodness, you're right! Great catch! This game has a very small handful of rules I can't remember to save my life. They're not complicated/hard, I just can't seem to fit them in to my rhythm. Apparently I messed up using potions during combat as well (rereading the section sounds like the enemy gets two attacks if you drink, not just their normal attack).
Love your videos. I have a question. I think ive seen some players matching the Primary Attack die with the first number in the maneuvers and the secondary with the second. You appear to use them interchangeably on your attacks. Which one is correct?
You have more than one maneuver (two or three). The dice definitely must match primary/secondary, so what you are seeing is correct, but you want to use your Shift points to use the best of the attacks given the situation. Example: Lets say you have a 5/3 and a 4/5 maneuver. You roll 5/4, but your better attack vs this particular enemy is the 4/5. You're not locked in to the 5/3 just because the primary die landed on 5. Use 2 Shift - one on each (1 down/1 up) - to change both die.
Thanks for watching, I hope it was enjoyable. I imagine my incredible misfortune with those treasure chests after all that buildup was worth watching (I still can't believe that happened 🙃).
