Bolik yet in the first movie, thats what they were doing 90% of the time, in the second they were doing it 50% of the time, in the third, they were doing it 100% of the time....
Alinea Euros The first movie was always about the heists what are you talking about lol. The second was the same. They were always about them, racing just revolved around it. I do admit that they need to have more moments like these in future films. The last good race we had was Braga audition race in the 4th film. After that, nothing felt like street racing. You can say the Cuba scene in the new one is a race, but it just doesn't feel the same as the urban racing in LA and Miami that they use to do.
@@willthenismoman4854 after seeing your comment 3 years ago saying I wouldn’t get one, I started grinding for those 3 years & guess what I still don’t have one 😂😩
Fun story, the sound is actually from a 2JZ from a supra, even though the gtr in the movie had a built rb26 or 28 I can’t remember exactly…but when I saw it in a vid by the producers I felt happy but scammed at the same time lol…search up some built rb26’s and you’ll see that they all sound very very different than that sound used in the movie
@@Rickcrazy100 All of the movie R34 GTRs were stock RB26s other than the hero car that had some bolt-ons. The mods on the action cars had fake stuff. Fun fact, in aa deleted scene, the R34 Brian goes to pick up that's in shit condition is a R34-25GT. It's RWD and NA (naturally aspirated) that makes around 165hp. Pretty much a shitty Nissan you can get in JP and AUS for like $20k, lol. The canon story is that he made it look like a GTR with the badges to scare off the competition, though no one seems to notice it's RWD, lol.
Omg, this look so simple, yet, so intence. I mean, it was a "thing" to jump from that ramp and they were scared af and amazied in the same time. And today, they are droping cars from the airplane like its "just another day on the job". lol
If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE Truth, the life and the only way to Heaven? Revelation 20:15 ''Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.'' Through Jesus Christ, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways, from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him. Biblical explanation of the Gospel: God doesn’t want anybody in hell, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23) The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). Since we have all sinned, we all deserve hell. Revelation 21:8 says that all liars will go to hell. Yes, even if you have lied once in your life, you are sentenced to hell - that's how high God's standards are of moral perfection because God is holy and righteous, there is not one sin in Him. For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ - for He lived a sinless life, died on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day. None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it and we don't want to be damned. No good works will ever save you. You can't earn salvation by good works, because God will judge us for our sin. Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life and He died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) We aren’t saved by our good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ. ''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Jesus said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins (past, present, future) to be forgiven only IF we repent and trust in Him. This is how you can get saved from sin and hell - repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ. Get to know Him by reading God's Word. So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” (Luke 11:13) ''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15) ''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19) Repentance is a turning away from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6) (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." If you have repented and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually. When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14) Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) ''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7) If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will desire righteousnes - to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God. You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son. ''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17) ''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10) You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ. As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so. In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.'' ''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19) ''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41) ''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21) ''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4) ''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12) Please get right with God and get to know Jesus Christ personally today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left! "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32) Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you! Jeremiah 29:13 - ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.''
I love how in every one of these races, the drivers are always neck and neck until someone somehow has another gear to shift to and get peak torque instantly. Or they just hit the nos lol
@@overpay7473 Theyre rarely downshifting at times that make sense. Most seem to be along straights where there would be zero reason to drop back down a gear. If the lower gear would be better for gaining speed, then why arent they already using that gear.
@@paraphiliac I can actually answer this! Basically the idea behind gears and gear ratios is to get the most efficient distribution of engine output to power. A higher gear ratio will translate to higher theoretical wheelspeed but less torque. When downshifting you're increasing your torque by a whole bunch thus giving you a burst of acceleration since higher revs = more power.
THE FOCUS ON HIS FACE BEFORE THE START OF THE RACE!!!😳 The sound of the RB when he wins!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 The reason why I got into JDM cars was because of FaF. Thanks for everything!! Rest in POWER PAUL!!!
Jesus christ man no need to spoil the movie for the rest of us. I just read the comments with out watching the clips to see if I wanna entertain the idea of watching the movie. F u homeboy.
In real life they had 4 R34 Skyline replicas . The real car which jumped the bridge had its face torn out , Bonnet smashed , Oil pump ruptured and Tyres gone .
@@JDMSL unfortunately your right thank God for stunt men. Have you ever wondered why there are thousands of movies and you probably never have seen one being filmed?
My thoughts precisely. A jump like that, it doesn't matter HOW your car lands - it's essentially ruined. Just ask The Dukes of Hazard. They had to replace the Charger every single time they jumped it, and in fact they wrecked so many of them they had to start mocking up the wrong year model to look like the correct one, because the actual year model started getting hard to find.
Dude the angles, camera shoots & CGI were crazy perfect in this movie imagine if they would have stuck to all of this after tokyo drift & actually kept it about the underground race scene how many dope af movies we would have got out of the series
Except only the R34 was a JDM, the S2000, Supra, and RX-7 were all left-hand drive. They weren't Japanese like the Skyline, even though they were from Japanese makes.
As a die hard rotary fan, I remember watching this in the movies back in 2003 and nearly walking out of the theater when the Rx-7 lost, now that I’m older and wiser I’ve developed respect for all those cars.
you still a die hard rotary fan? didnt they stop producing those engines because of how high their rate of failure was? and finding a mechanic who could repair them was almost impossible.
I like how Brian still uses the same NOS that blew the manifold of his Eclipse but the difference is that Brian has the Skyline that can handle the power. The NOS lead him to win the race this time.
Ummmm no. In The fast and the furious he used literally Nos bottles, Nos brand, this time he used Nitrous express bottles cuz, the eclipse had Nos from the owner john lapid, and Craig Lieberman chose Nitrous express for the skyline
the actual setup on the skyline doesn't really matter because all you hear in the movie is sound design. sound engineers actually merged the sound of different engines, exhausts and blow off valves. they used a highly modified supra sound for the skyline in this movie.
@@ehinton4006 I honestly haven't seen such an idiot like you. Why is it lame? Is it because it's not realistic? Since when are movies supposed to be realistic?
The days, I watched this as a kid and I was so fixated with Paul and that sweet GTR I mimicked every gear shift everything he did I copied. He was my idol. RIP Legend
@@user-ys3qz9pm7k When they were going 100kmh,it was near tge starting line, the movie producers just wanted you to see everything from everybody's perspecrive
The best audio quality that I have heard till now. I have a pair of home made smaller boxes that produces incredible sound pressure in the low frequencies and high ones as well. It was a really amazing experimence. Thank you!👍
When i was a kid it doesn't matter how many times i repeat watching FAST2, because this part pumps me up everytime, i love this movie i wish f&f was always like this, PURE RACING!.
I think we all forgot it wasnt FF in the first place which got it all rolling.. it was the combination of two movies and two games. NFS Underground was building up the hype to its maximum, FF started it. I am glad they brought the japanese car culture to ous.
I still wonder what kind of setup is on the motor for the skyline. The thing sounds beast, and I just love that crisp and pronounced turbo blowoff sound. Reminds me of the time I put a pair of turbos on my dads old truck. We swapped out the stock motor and put 427 big block with billet illuminum heads. I hooked up a pair of precision 98 mm turbochargers. Unfortunately before my dad and I got to finish our project it was stolen.
I wonder what would a gtst r33 sound like with a borla atak exhaust hehe, i hope it sounds better than a hks one if not i should just get the hi powered turbo back exhaust with a big outlet( i think?) header? Sorry i am still learning
I just realised, not only was this a legendary Japanese rivalry race between a GTR and a Supra, but it was also rivalry between 2 major Japanese aftermarket brands HKS (skyline) vs Greddy (Supra).
Huh, just noticed how hard the turns were here during this race. Don't know if that was on purpose but love how after this movie, they introduced drifting into the series: which would helped the racers out IF they knew how to pull it off. So wonder if Sean would've had a huge advantage in this race.
I like how they’re four different outcome/reactions to the bridge 1. The one who’s confident, goes super saiyan, and there car is fine 2. The one who’s also confident but breaks the car’s brakes 3. The one who tries to go for it but luckily only breaks the front bumper 4. The one who doesn’t go for it at all
It's one thing to love this race more because it's true to the core of Fast and Furious, buts it's also because the other 3 racers. They raced as if they loved it and wanted to (even if they have to win cash just to pay rent). None of them ever were subjected to cheating. It's about pride, honor and fast cars and that's what it's needed in the later films.
I legit feel bad for gold supra dude. Drove a good, clean race holding his own till some stupid stunt forced his lo-pro tires to pop causing him to consequently fuck up his car.
Remember when this movie still good as a kid? That 2003 dude. 19 years ago. 5 kids sneak out to teater at 7P.M, come back home at 11 like a ninja and got caught literally the moment I open the front door.
"How about that for a grand finale? Hehehe" "Tej, that jump will destroy their cars and maybe not kill, but heavily injure them at the very least" "Lmao not my problem"
Ok I've been seeing that people say that the skyline was a GTT or that it had a 2JZ. No you're wrong. This was a 1999 MotoRex R34 GTR with the rear driveshaft and HICAS All wheel steering taken out for drifts and burnouts, and the sound was because of an HKS hi-power exhaust system with a Turbonetics BOV. And has a beautiful C-West bodykit.
Actually the sound came from two different setups. The engine revving is an rb26 with an hks single turbo, tubular manifold, and downpipe. The car driving is an rb26 with a greddy t78 turbo, tubular manifold, and downpipe mixed with a big cam rb30 with the same turbo setup, and a single turbo 2jz.
Can watch this movie once a month and still doesn't get old. Fuel for the fire was just getting into cars when these movies came out, nitrous isn't even legal in my state but we still did it 😂
how so? they've all been discontinued years ago, the new gtr is an entirely different car, it's a dual clutch automatic race car which costs a fortune, a whole different class and purpose
