In today's video we are showing you how to upgrade and replace some new motor mounts with polyurethane inserts, making them solid on our 2g mitsubishi eclipse build dsm project car. It should be a pretty easy to install, and a must have mod for your gs, gst, or gsx 2nd gen...unless everything decides to go wrong, like it did in this vlog.

that's an easy fix if you have a welder, get a thick washer and cut out a bit of the metal in the mount and weld the washer in place, clean up for flush fit, half hours job.

Yeah, I ended up finding a perfect mount at my local junkyard, so all is good! No welder yet, but that's something I definitely want to start playing with and learning.

I personally know a few local people that boosted 420a's with success, it's not as bad as others make it out to be. But that fell through long ago, too much going on with the Lightning to do anything else lol 😂

@@DebtLife_Projects yeah I had a friend with a boosted GS, I have a 95 gst I’ve had for 17yrs. I’ve swapped the motor once since I’ve had it but when we used to play around I would have to give him atleast a 3 car lead and it still wasn’t close. It looked and sounded great but just doesn’t make much power. He had a lot of work done to it too. Good luck with the ⚡️ it should give you what your looking for out of life haha thanks for the reply though man you did good on that video

When I'm changing gears in 1-3rd I come out of the gear I hear a pop underneath and when I get back on the gas I hear the same pop like this is my problem replacing this part sounds about right for me would this be the reason why I here a smack underneath my GTS when I stop and take off ????? HELPP
