From the U1 Asami song production information: 'As a civilization flourishes, there are things that will be lost when it becomes rich and developed. The violence of a civilization taints the nobility, breaks it with fragile resistance, destroys and rots it. Where does a civilization go... It yells for the land of grace.'
ORION.78 ~civilization mix~ / Song Production Information As a civilization flourishes, there are things that will be lost when it becomes rich and developed. The violence of a civilization taints the nobility, breaks it with fragile resistance, destroys and rots it. Where does a civilization go... It yells for the land of grace. 2MB
I only just read this on RemyWiki and it all makes sense now.. this song is about civilization destroying the Okinawan culture that the original song is based on. Explains why "leacher" is repeated, the background photo is of a burning city, and the end of the song sounds like destruction 🤯 Yuichi Asami (2MB) is amazing!!
According to the song production information: "As a civilization flourishes, there are things that will be lost when it becomes rich and developed. The violence of a civilization taints the nobility, breaks it with fragile resistance, destroys and rots it. Where does a civilization go... It yells for the land of grace." So not exactly, more of civilization destroying traditions? And if we're talking about the lyrics it's just an old tribal chant.
I had an inspiration for a music video set to this song, a super timelapse of all of human history, but it was just too ambitious for me to do it justice.
I feel like even now, over 25 years since the series launched, this is still one of the most unique-sounding and atmospheric songs to ever grace the game.
I was about ten songs into Endless Mode and this came up. Failed on the second-to-last note cause I had no idea how to hit the jump streams. This chart is brutal!
The best way I’ve always found to complete those jump streams is just to do jump steps on even the single steps so it’s easier - that way you only have to move either way a short distance to clear them
