tf2's final development cycle was valve intentionally flexing their new advances in facial animation tech as hard as possible (was not entirely in hl2:episode 2), which they'd refine even further in l4d. it's probably why they chose the cartoonish style (i was so disappointed when overwatch came out)

@@SoapyTF half true. Those were key framed and prerendered with high quality models not used in gameplay, so those are just more Valve flexing their skills at animation

Teufort is a gaming enigma. It's like a social area which exists in tons of games but your allowed to still kill people at any time. Normally it would devolve into normal gameplay as people would just start killing eachother. But the lack of a gameplay objective other than "victory" creates some of the most unique gameplay and humor to come from any form of entertainment

I have but sometimes it's useless since the medic may not realize you're asking them to pop uber, there's no visual aid or something else besides the message in the chat and voice line in case the medic doesn't notice both of them.

I remember once in 2fort casual, there was this one enemy pyro who would use the jetpack to fly onto the balconies, go to the spawn doors and just sit there. Whenever they died, they would just come back and do the same thing. They never attacked anyone, they would just take the most direct path to the spawn doors even if they had to walk past a sentry. They gave my team and I quite the startle at first, but after a while, we just kinda got used to them. Half of my team would have dance parties and play Rock Paper Scissors with them and the other half would just walk past him like they weren’t there.
Elements that a 2fort match has,a-posing people, lots of killbinds, friendly heavies, everyone in one place doing nothing and throwing jarate and mad milk then laughing at eachother, f2p's and those who always kill friendlies and general chaos
The names people use in this game are so unique and memorable IMO that I think I’ve played games with several of the people featured in the video. (The Milkman #SaveTF2 is one I think)
