I admit I was High on Milroe coming outta of high school then after the Texas game I kinda gave up on our season,I did not think Milroe would ball this hard based off the first few games, I guess Coach let him play his game, but anyways hats of to MILROE, you made a believer outta me young man, your future is bright go get it, ROLL DAMN TIDE!!
I've heard people giving Eli Gold a hard time for not being excited enough in his call of the 4th and 31 call. My reply is he done a wonderful job and all you people complaining apparently have no idea what the legend has gone thru! Just be happy we still have the greatest game caller in history! God be with Eli!!!!!
He was probably in a state of shock like I was. I didn't scream...I was just stunned and thinking "did that really just happen?".... it was like a dream and I kept waiting for a flag or something to wake me up.
Eli didn't call a game in 2022 due to having stage 3 Cancer. He has been the voice of Alabama football for 35 years and he's still amazing. So if anyone has a problem with his excitement level please drink a tall cold glass of Shut the F up.
That was such a difficult throw that Milroe did. To put that ball in that spot! The receiver could not run to get it or slow down to get it, it had to be a perfect pass and it was!
Is it just me, but I just realized. The 2018 National Championship, 2021 Iron Bowl, and now the 2023 Iron Bowl, have one thing in common. All won on the left side at the same spot.
Because they're not. One was for the national title and the other was because the center stinks and the quarterback doesn't know that you cant cross the line and still throw the ball.
@@Scorpio_1974 Na I do get it. All y’all fools who think Milroe played a good game don’t get it. Y’all as blind as he is when it comes to reading defenses. Sorry ass had the running back and tight end open and wouldn’t throw to them. Would take the 15 to 20 yards of green in front of him. Instead we had to punt because it’s big play or nothing. His ass don’t even know the rules. He the reason we were in that situation in the first place.
I am not the biggest Milroe supporter aside from he is our QB and he has started to realize he has legs....but his was the more beautiful pass of the two.
What game were you watching. if he took the 15 to 20 yards of green thee defense gives him we wouldn't even be in that situation. If he knew you cant go pass the line then go back behind the line of scrimmage and throw the ball we wouldn't be in that situation. If he threw the ball to the tight ends and runnings backs who are wide open most plays then we wouldn't be in that situation. He already misses on intermediate throws every game. He does that shit next week and Georgia will beat the brakes off us.
Milroe shows signs of being really good but he is nowhere Heismen material yet. He dropped a time to win and made two bone head rookie mistakes, passing across the line of scrimmage. New week he'll have a chance to prove how good he is.
The difference between 2nd and 26 and 4th and 31 is that Tua still had 2 more shots if he would have missed but with Milroe it was a one shot one kill he couldn't miss it was all or nothing had to make it count.
I wasnt impressed by either play to be honest the tua play was more significant it won you a Natty but it was just busted coverage thats all not like the kid was Jerry rice skill set to bait and out run and the whole iron bowl situation was just embarrassing seeing a basketball school destroy auburn 6 days earlier and bama getting controlled while game and needing a miracle! If FSU needed a miracle to beat the gators i would just count it as a loss anyways go noles!!!!!! Go big blue
