❤lovely roses😊no rose is drought tolerant as the heirloom desert rose like # Rosa Damascena , # Prince of Persia & some of Meilland lnternational roses at Southern France.😊i.e very hot & dry too. I bought # Oklahoma for my friend & she refused to let it bask in our hot , tropical sun may be , due to our wet ..wet....Monsoon season now. I had ordered # Firefighter , # Mr Lincoln & # JFK . I am also considering # Ch'Ching , # Julia's Child , # Ingrid Bergman & Molineux 😊 Great rose garden & keep up the great roses ya❤😊
Thanks. I’m in Dallas and our 100 degree days start next week. My Drift roses are flourishing and this week my Molineux is showing more bloom. Others are more sparse. I’ll take your lead and NOT deadhead. Thanks again.
Yeah, i usually just skip it this time of year :) I do like to do a little prune and cleanup when it starts to cool down again in fall when the weather is better 🌹🌞 Stay cool!
We had 22 degrees today & i was sweating buckets sitting down on lawn cutting grass with a pair of scissors ( just so that i can listen to the birds singing).. & i thought no wonder u just let it be at times
:) Yeah, i think i remember mine not doing great the first year, but you can see it has done better as it has gotten older. But the roses are so TINY and cute! 🌞🌹
I can forgive that they are not dead headed & obviously would have had more blooms … for the reason they look 100% Better then Jose’s poor rose plants .. sometimes just don’t overwhelm yourself like i do.. i wish i would learn that but no.. i baby them too much ..& the cat gets too spoilt too
