Welcome back everyone, this week we managed to get some harvesting done but the rain is making it hard work especially when the weather man/woman gets it wrong! But other than harvesting I was spraying with the Bateman RB26 and topping with the Teagle until it broke.....

Excellent video loving the content recently I love the mix of jobs that you vlogged it’s a handy feature in sprayers to be able to fold in the sides to a different size to avoid obstacles etc you would be lost without it😂

I had the same problem with the flail roller and did exactly the same, welded the races as they were stuck on. Seemed to work well but the bearings were expensive!🤦‍♂️

Nice video Andy I have been cutting OSR. We had an issue in the feeder house after the winter barley where 2 bits of steel each side of where they header goes had to be bend back from a blockage has this ever happened to you? Great video

Great video Andy, need a settled spell of weather now, good your doing cover crops, after they been grazed off will the cultivator be good enough before the spring drilling or will you plough it? Who was that helping with the knife?

Hi mate yes we could definitely do with a dry August which hasn’t happened since 2018 so unlikely lol it would be nice to drill straight into the cover crops in spring but I guess we will see what sort of winter we get 🤔 and that was Jeremy and Stephen the grain Carter’s 👍🏻

@@Itsafarminglifeforme if the sheep graze them it wil need to be even or you might need to top it off or buy a batwing to top it, all that crap with the black grass might need spraying off and a deep cultivate, the mustard grown here on the plain is batwinged down them ploughed in.

On your older 6215r did you have the same problem as me that the hatch where you check your engine oil randomly came lose While driving?

Are those extra tramlines in your barley? Or chocked spouts? I was working with a pneumatic DC 3m back in the day and I have had similar issues ( if that is what I seen in your video ) keep up the good content and I hope harvest goes well

Hi Pete , what it is that we had 100 mm of rain just after I drilled the barley and where the tractor tyres caused some compaction the soil capped and the seed did not grow very well. This is one of the reasons I want to go back to a trailed drill so I can run the tyre pressure low on tractor and we won’t get the compaction but to pick up the weaving drill I need to have back tyres at 20psi which as you probably know is not good for soil 👍🏻
