No girl group sounds like this anymore, and it's sad. Losing 2NE1 took a bigger hit on me as a fan of kpop for more than 15 years. They, along with Bigbang were one of those groups that forced everyone else to be competitive musically. It was all good while it lasted. Just came back here to reminisce.

True but the mistreatment came with severe consequences and their mental health declined so bad… I love my bigbang and 2ne1… they deserved so much better hopefully one day they’ll come back and make hit songs so they shake the entire nation ✨🥹
@@SemiiMarie the separation from their fellow stars i think also cut deep, since they trained since they were young teens and so their friendship spans a decade or more. And transitioning from having that much support system into being a solo artist must be hard and lonely. I wish they can come back too but it seems like yg has other plans.. but manifesting still! ❤️

I’m a blackjack and to be honest even SNSD were 2NE1’s biggest competitor but I’ve always loved their music, i knw fanwars happens but we weren’t that toxic as those fandoms nowadays! Kpop was better than this! And even now, we blackjacks admit that snsd are the queens of kpop and paved the way along with 2ne1 and all the other 2nd generation girl groups
If 2ne1 debuted in this era, they would have still slain every chart and would have blown up bigger. Through Internet and social media influence, they would have gone further and higher. Sadly, they're not promoted and taken care well of by the management. They deserved better. 😭😭
They did slay the charts when they debuted back in 2009, got famous right away and started collecting awards as soon as they debuted. No wonder they created the title "Rookie monster"

im by no means an old kpop stan but ill still try to share older groups talents with people who dont believe that kpop is anything but kids songs and talentless artists. new groups are talented as well though.

I won't ever get tired listening to this song. This is one of my most favorite MV alongside It Hurts. Someone may find it boring to watched but i felt relaxed and comfort watching to this kind of video. I miss them 😢
When you find out that when they were recording this song that they all cried individually because they were thinking of how they would feel if 2NE1 disbands. They weren’t thinking of any romantic relationship of family relationships... but the through of their sisterhood as a group breaking up... made them cry while recording....what a trigger for my sad blackjack heart!

I actually just got into KPOP recently.(ard April last year) Surprisingly only BIGBANG and 2ne1, one hiatus one disbanded caught my eye...I like certain new groups e.g. Winner but not enough to call myself a fan. So now I'm a new generation KPOP fan who has a sad life 😂😂
Can everyone who doesn't know the story about Bom listen to me for a second because the comments are breaking my heart. Bom has a terrible lymph nodes condition that causes her face to swell and become sore from time to time. She has had surgery before but that was for the veins in her face. The swelling had gotten so bad that it was cutting off the blood circulation in her throat and nose. If you look at her pre debut photos you will see that she looked pretty similar to how she does now. Bom is a wonderful woman and she doesn't deserve to be hated In any way. If you knew better you would love her the way true blackjacks do.

I always liked this song (no girl group ever really did ballads AND hype songs the way 2NE1 did) but that aside, I also think that this is the coolest the 2NE1 members ever looked in a MV. Their wardrobe looks amazing and the MV also looks beautiful.

I swear no one girl group who have strong , unique and charismatic concepts like them. 2ne1 is a powerful girl group in Kpop industry. from their music, performance appearance, brave fashion styles, hair styles and strong playful dance. They so talented and have strong auras. They really baddass, no need to do an aegyo,cuteness concept, wearing mini or sexy dance like other girl group do , that's why 2NE1 is such a Legens and Queens who can turn up the beat and make the stage scream. Now Kpop is lost one of expensive assets who brings different performance , who break the stereotype of image girlgroup that most people known Kpop girl group is a bunch of girl who dance sings like dolls with cuteness, aegyo, good legs ,good hair ,sexy image and stuff to attract people and 2ne1 did opposite way. They show charismatic auras and bring different image indeed, We must be blessed 2ne1 make it different and bring symbol of powerful women, even western group couldn't pull off to do that..
i agree 2ne1 was so different i remember when they debuted no other girl group was like them before i was so amazed at the difference they brought to kpop their music and style were unique and special but today it's so sad wether u find a copy of them or some others doing the over used cute concept. kpop really lost its originality just creating several versions of the older groups. i miss 2ne1 so much.

You know more and more as years go by I’m appreciating minzy’s vocals. She’s very stable and vocally keeps the group together. She shines the most in ballads and reggaes and other song her vocals maintain the song from going off.
the Queens who broke the stereotypes of kpop girls wearing flashy, pastel colored short skirts, mini dresses and too much aegyo. the trailblazer of kpop girl crush concept, edge, rap and power vocals. what can I say? Having a 2NE1 Marathon and all I can say is no matter what girl group comes out or how many years go by they will always remain the best. The charts show that, the sells show that, the popularity shows that and the fans still show that. YG will NEVER have a GG like this again. Only copies, 2NE1 was first such a unique group no matter looks or visuals. Their songs fill me with such nostalgia of me being a younger kid and listening to all their stuff and watching a new episode of 2NE1 TV after a long day at school. Many years have passed and I still love you guys. 2NE1 WE WILL ALWAYS BE MISSING YOU. 🖤
As much as the title, I'm missing 2NE1. Watching their reunion at Coachella makes me soo happy. Until now I'm still hoping for their comeback as other 2nd gen group already did. Sincerely, a fan from 2nd gen. Their era was just awesome! 💓
i miss these kinds of pop ballads, you dont see them anymore. when a group goes out of their usual style and nails it, thats this song. pure vocals with not too many stylistic runs.
It's been, what? Like 6-8 months now since this song was released. Still beautiful as ever. I wish this isn't the last that they make an mv & a song like this. This song might not be a fast paced party song like their previous ones but it definitely is really strong that can bring out emotions in anyone that would listen to it
I didn't like the song in the beginning because it was slow.. not because it's a 2ne1 slow song. But A slow song.. never liked that. But after listing, and listing.. i excelly like the song tho!

I love their voices their songs but I was a sone before so I don't want to stan too many group but regret that I didn't stan 2ne1. All the members have their own unique voice. CL, Park Bom, and Minzy has poeerful vocal and Dara sweet voice balance the group vocal. I don't meant to compared them but I just want to share my opinion.
This song hits hard today in 2024, it came out when I was 12, not much attention to lyrics just pure admiration to the art and melody. Now as I grow older, where my my brain able fully grasp the concept of loss, longing and grieving someone and being nostalgic to certain situations, i feel very emotional when I hear this song again after years. I miss 2NE1 so much I wish they produce more K-pop music like this. ❤
They sound really good live. Minus the theatrics and backing vocals. If the performance is stripped down, they stand out. I've been looking for acoustic live performances for new girl groups there are only a few, and in my opinion, they are never at par. New songs from new generation girl groups are mostly bangers, I'm not saying that's not good, you just can't appreciate them vocally in comparison to songs like this ballad for example. I don't see stripped-down performances of girl groups nowadays, I think they have to live up to the hype and demand of having to dance synchronically and sing, which is hard to do as well but Vocally, 2ne1 stands out.
No group could replace 2NE1, queen of good quality music and queen of high class fashion, this is how kpop should be. You don't need to much rap line and still slaying
Park Bom has a great voice. Minzy stood out in this song though with her head voice and rnb-ish sorrowful voice. CL is always amazing. Dara can sing more lines right now because her voice is improving as she mentioned she has been doing vocal training lately. 2ne1 vocals is superb.
