Park Bom, Minzy, and Sandara Park are her guardian angels that CL does not see until at the very end after she suffers the fatal race car accident. When you watch the video again you will note that CL does not know they are standing right next to her ... only after she dies does CL recognize their existence, and they all walk away together.

Mind Of Mando In a Twilight Zone twist on reality, the guardian angels "break through" to the Living World even if CL did not realize it. At the 1:18 mark, Minzy holds an umbrella for CL when she gets out of her car in the rainstorm. Even though Minzy is not really there, somehow CL was kept dry from the rain. Also at the 4:08 mark, Sandara Park kicks the ex-boyfriend's jacket away from CL as the 3 guardian angels helped CL stand up after the beatdown.

@@MindOfMando also maybe to connect it to the lyrics... her and the guy dying is a symbol of CL determination to kill the part of her that loves the guy so much (how they all jumping singing 'GO AWAY' on that last race...CL is like it's time to let the love go, she's had enough ). You know how minzy, dara and bom were always there but she can't seem to see them or hear them? That's how people in a relationship like that, they ignore or choose to ignore advice people who cares. But when she finally killed her emotions towards the guy, like she finally let go.... she finally sees them and happy.

Most of the time I don't like too much auto-tuning in songs but somehow it works here. Also people mentioned how young 15 yo Minzy was when 2NE1 debuted in May 2009, but do not mentioned enough that CL was barely 18 yo, and was given the dual responsibilities by YG to be both the face and the leader of the group.

Yeah a lot of 2nd generation idols have stories/dramatized MVs just so it will relate to the message/lyrics of their songs. It was more in your face explanation as opposed to how nowadays a lot of KPOP MVs and even teasers are mysteries in themselves and can have different meanings and messages to decipher. KPOP can be very fancy and artistic nowadays, which isn’t a bad thing at all and isn’t so dramatized. There are still some artists/MVs that still tell a dramatized story, I can’t remember the name of it or the artists. I’ll let you know when I find them, but yeah it’s rare nowadays.

I wholeheartedly recommend 2NE1's Missing You. In my opinion it is the single most beautiful music video ever ... their magnum opus. Also additional bonus points for CL appearing nude in the video.

i don't particularly like this MV because of the violence against women aspect but it is a real part of life and in order to show someone get up you gotta watch them go down - the song itself though is awesome

ok this just made me so fucking emotional it is because of 2ne1 that I even started to listen to kpop on regular bases I basically forced all my friends to listen to them , but they never liked it *insert the sad emoji face* but hey I met new friends who actually love kpop and I'm very grateful for that through them I got to know BIGBANG who is my ultimate biased group* since 2ne1 disbanded and I'm just so grateful to them for giving me a hope when things did not work out the way I wanted for being role models when I desperately needed one for breaking the fucking korean beauty standards and coming on top of the charts to teach idols especially girls that it does not matter how you look you succeed because you make good music and that what matters at the end aaaaaagh I can go on and on forever also I just realized that I'm older than you which makes me feel even more protective of you LOVE YA

FYI, there is a music video for Crush. It’s the Crush Japanese version music video. You could still check that out. You should also do an album listen and review of 2NE1’s albums To Anyone and Crush.Seriously, because there are some great songs on both that don’t have music videos but are amazing and you definitely shouldn’t miss out on them!
