True. Keith snuffed Prodigy too somewhere in NYC, If I'm remembering correctly. Those edits where they dissed each other on the I Shot Ya (Remix) was some of the wildest sh## from the '90s lol.
That's what he saying but is it facts? How do we don't know that big ass bodyguard that he said was standing all up on Keith and pac couldn't squeeze in bc maybe there was no room so pac slid his hand out to shake it but this dude wanna act like pac was scared but why did he didn't say anything when he seen Keith 1st who knows maybe at that time it didn't cross pacs mind then after he seen Keith went there own ways pac could of been isn't that the dude that was on who shot ya? Ok lets go see what's Poppin so we can get this situated most of them ny rappers that was down with bisexual LL cool J biggie mob deep all wanna put a bad taste on pac's name.
@@domsugar9160 Actually this did happen. This is dealing with two separate occasions when they ran into one another. Two songs Pac heard with the title who shot ya when he was in the pen. This was after Pac got shot at Quad studios. Pac was after anyone outta NY. Pac had every reason to be skeptical even skitzoid cause them cats Pac had already made a name for himself.
@@jackjill8129 not messy brother but even if he says I don't want to make pac look like a punk or what ever he said that is what he was doing. Like he just said the bodyguard or who ever was with pac was big azz fuk standing over him like a giant I guess and there was peeps around in a club and maybe pac couldn't squeeze in so he slid his arm through and Keith thinking bc pac was standing behind that giant looking scared we all really don't know the truth and especially what pac was thinking we all can sit hear and day dream and assume what happened but pac being like a punk idk man🤔 especially coming from a dude with glasses hanging side ways.
@@jeffreycooper6789 Explain Drake, Wayne, JID, Kendrick, Kanye, Future Durk, Travis Scott and Jay Z. Most teens aren't on the charts, 30 and up club is ruling rn.
Again, most these dudes started at least 20 years ago except a few…these few have stood the test of times. Now names all the older rappers who are no longer in the rapping in the limelight!
@@jeffreycooper6789 Just saying it used to be teens to 20's rapping only. Today even fifty year old doing it. Of course old rappers over fifty would be off the list, they've done more than there time. My point it's not for the young only no more.
this is one of the best interviews of somebody who had a altercation with pac far as keeping the story legit not making themselves seem bigger than the situation actually was and respecting pac at same time...
Major props to Keith for sticking to the code and RESPECTING PAC by not wanting to discuss his run in with him after his death. TOO many are capitalizing off his legacy after his death. Let the man rest in peace!!
That's Tupac's fault and we can't hear the truth but we can listen to people worship him, put him on pedestals that he doesn't belong on, and rewrite history.
Keith recollection is impeccable a true treasure to the hip hop community. Legendary artist bc he made it to tell the story. He’s a great guy! Blessings to him. That era is unmatched it will never be duplicated. What a time to be alive.
I was there at that concert when this issue happened.. in fact it happened right in front of me. It was the Onyx, Das Efx, and Group Home show at the Hollywood House of Blues October 1995.. Pac was fresh out of jail, and the news of him signing with Death Row didnt go public yet. He was still dressed like he was in Above the Rim, with Tims, bandana, and jean vest. Redman was standing on the ledge right behind me in front of the bar.. the 'bodyguard' Keith is talking about was Big Syke (RIP). Syke ran up on Keith first trying to punk him, then Redman saw that shit and jumped off the ledge right in the middle of that shit to back Keith up, squaring up on Big Syke. Keith and Pac talked in each other's ear, and the heat calmed down after that.
Salute to Redman for reppin our city of Newark properly. I remember Wack 100 telling a story about going to the bathroom with his niggas and Redman was in there and thought that they was about to jump him. Wack said that Red squared up on all them niggas, but shit got diffused. Brick City shit!
I’ll never forget when I first heard the most beautifullest thing in this world and saw the video with him standing on the car spittin. Hip hop at its finest. Respect for him being careful how he spoke his version of the story about Pac. 🙏🏽
Keith was definitely one of the pioneers of rap who study all the words in the dictionary before he became a rapper: He used to drop dope songs with a vernacular out this world but the shits be jamming.
When people mention the best lyrics, they forget about this dude right here. He is hands down one of the best lyrics that ever to come out in the golden era.
Keith Murray is such underrated rapper and personality. It's a shame he didn't reach his potential. Even now he has become an interesting storyteller and gives a unique take on 90's hip hop. Salute Keith!
I really respect Murray for honoring Pac name..Men of that Era just had more morals and principles that they lived by ...the character and honesty and respect of Murray says alot about how genuine he is as a individual
I respect the hell out of him, so many bitter ass emotional dudes from back then still have a chip on their shoulder when it comes to Pac. Keith Murray was man enough to get past that.
Pac was dealing with alot, almost getting murdered is traumatic so I understand where he was coming from. His mind was all over didn't know who to trust... salute Keith Murray though real hip hop
'AAAAAYYYYEE YOOOO!! THIS INTERVIEW WAS 💯% ON POINT!! I LOVE HOW KEITH MURRAY ANSWERED THE QUESTIONS AND KEPT IT 💯 LIKE THAT... HE'S ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE EAST COAST RAPPER'S, STRAIGHT UP
His lyricism, delivery, innate talent for metaphor, and flow is unmatched. He is a wordsmith. Truly one of the best- so underrated as an MC. I still have my Keith Murray cassette tape of The Most Beautifullest Thing.
This interview is "The Most Beautifullest Thing In This World".....shots out to Keith Murray & the whole "L.O.D"..….& Art Of Dialogue for this interview. 🌎🌛🌞⭐🌎🌛🌞⭐🌎
I remember bumping "This That sh#t" all throughout 8th grade before my basketball games & his "The Most Beautifulliest Thing In This World" & "Enigma" albums on my royal blue Walkman CD player w/the curved headphones. #classic
There is an interview with Redman about this very incident and he said that he would take that story to the grave. This is probably what he meant by that. Great, great interview. You can feel Keith Murray's energy/emotions through the screen. Salute Mr Murray! You are a real one sir!
Man this how Snoop should be talking when he bringing up the Don Makaveli 💯 Love the respect and honor he put on Pac name since he ain’t here to defend himself ! G shit fa sho
CANT SNOOP HAD A WAY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE KNEW PAC WAY MORE AND SAW PAC DO WAY MORE BS ESPECIALLY AFTER SNOOP SHOWED HIM NOTHING BUT LOVE AND RESPECT .
I'm here to make a dollar out of 15 cents and let my balls hang like I'm on a toilet taking a shit. My style is that and a big bag of chips with the dip fuck all that essential shit . That was the second best verse on that song behind LL
Man you got to give Keith Murray props and mad love for being a grown man a real man about the situation, salute Keith Murray and rip Tupac!! Fire ass interview Art you da man!! But I'm a Prodigy fan too, so you got to ask him about the Prodigy beef!! 💯💯
I only had to wait 20+ yrs to get all these dope stories I was in HS during this time n soaked all this good 90s golden era music in.. still do.. Keith was 🔥 n still so hypnotizing to watch dope video 🎚
I grew up amongst situations like this. If something traumatic ever happened to you, that will roll around in your head all day. Especially if you in similar situations (I.e., in a closed in area like a club with ppl around u). Pac more than likely was cool with Murray at first then it kept rolling around in his head with him wondering if Murray was on some snake s or not. Murray saying Pac kept flip flopping during the course of the interaction. Sounds legit. It be like that. Pac was carrying PTSD and trust issues.
You have to remember that Pac's mother carried and birthed him in prison and then his whole family was Black Panthers and Black Liberation Army members who were wanted by the feds all his childhood even had shootouts with cops and then his mother fell to drug addiction while moving Pac from place to place continuously, so there was definitely some type of mental and emotional disturbances that Pac was dealing with
Loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥I used to play The Most Beautifulest Thing In This World literally everyday on my little headphone set on my way to high school!!!! I played that tape so much it broke!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Peace to Keith Murray
These brothers have to be intellectual about their responses. When we reminiscence the emotions are attached, just as Keith said. These interviews and Vlads are to set off wars once again in the black community. The FBI/ CIA always had spies and community instigators..
I respect real shit with what Murray saying while I'mma fan of his and Pac but that was some sucks shit. Beside I been a Pac fan all my life he's my favorite but I like how Murray. Didn't go out his way to put smut on his name plus I was young. So I was guilty of taking sides back then just being from the West but I respect kings and legends
Truly one of the most genuine stories ever told about pac man’s not lying and still has issues about what happened with time..pray people respect his wishes and stop asking shit people do not want to discuss
Man, he seems like he's doing so much better these days. He had a few years where he looked a bit off the rails. The man is in my Top 5 of all-time so I want Mr. Murray to stay safe out here! Glad two of my favorites never had any serious beef.
Pac told this story on that footage of him taking the pictures in in that tub. It was Big Syke who confronted Murry. Pac said nah keep it peace. Tupac’s own words
2Pac had so much love for New York and the East Coast, it's just after that shit that happened in Quad Studios, he was on edge an didn't trust anyone. He felt betrayed. He thought everyone on the East Coast was coming for him but that wasn't true. Salute to Keith Murray for clearing this shit up. You can tell that he's still bothered by it.
Just about the only interviewee I completely believe. Growing up in SA listening to Keith m proud. “my brain bleeds mental complex feeds bring it on kid I got exactly what you need”. Legend
Rest easy PAC and giving my flowers to Keith Murray I remember his first album 💿 allways get me hype when I do basketball practice and getting ready for the game back in high school freshman year and sophomore year
This man right here !❤️ I love him till this day ! I miss real M.C.like this King right here! "The most beautifulliest thing in this World, it's just like dat ", I get in ya !!!!!!!!! These young ones don't know about him !🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was there that night at the house of blues almost 30 years ago standing a few feet away when all this took place. Everything he says pretty much checks out from what I remember. The whole thing lasted less than a minute. The floor in front of the stage cleared out and east and west engaged. Redman was standing on the ledge lol. More like on the edge of the stage or a big speaker next to it. I remember him jumping off into the mele. There was some pushing and shoving and yelling. And then it was over. Great night, great show, great era.
The #1 problem with 2pac stories is that his stan's act like he was Jesus Christ & could do no wrong! They NEVER keep it real on some of the hipocritic shit he did! He was smart but NOT smart enough to NOT let Suge Knight put the battery in his back. 🤷🏽♂He preached Black Unity but then got to Death Row & wanted to act like he was a Blood🤦🏽♂ etc........ I've always heard you shouldn't talk ill/bad about dead people but in my mind you shouldn't act like they were angel's either! I know too many people that ran the streets & when they died you read the obituary & you'd swear they were in church almost everyday & read the Bible to non believers!🤴🏽✌
I gotta admit Tupac had to be the most active / animated hip hop artist ever cuz it seems like every single interaction he had with people was very memorable 🤯💯
I still bump his music & everybody else music from back then & beyond all because time moves on my love for a lot of artist don't whether they still drop music or not that doesn't matter too me. Besides there isn't any artist holding a candle towards Keith or any other def squad member or whoever from back then, period..
One of the greatest MC to ever touch the mic. Keith Murray a lyrical genius 💯💯💯 UPDATE: I see alot of you are in your feelings about MY opinion. ITS JUST AN OPINION. Stop the cry baby shit about who is and who isn't the GOAT, that's some sucka a$$ shit and idgaf about anyone's opinion on how I feel....Have a nice day 😊
Keith is real, these impromptu Pac question this interviewer brings up are slowly starting to worj my nerves, I get that Pac wasn't perfect, but it gets old hearing dude asking questions that only seem to slant toward a certain direction, and Keith lowkey saw through that.
The most beautifulest thing in this world is not one of my favorite songs but is my favorite song ever... I least to it at least once a day for motivation... That whole album was bussin
