The way Death Row was being managed there’s NO WAY that could last… it’s very unfortunate Suge must be sick to his stomach to think about the way he thru that away..
JAMES wasnt a big fan of Pac lets say that .He was at Deathrow cuz of his relationship with Suge also he’s still holds Suge responsible for Pacs Murder deep down .He believes Suge shouldn’t have let Pac act like a loose cannon
@Timmy Ggz tv but forgotten almost instantly. (The king of pop, it's sad how his legacy has ceased already) Pac legacy will never die 😂 so who's bigger? Rest in ✌️ you, Pac & MJ..
Mob James looks like a big kid recounting those beat downs back in the day lmao. His smirk and trying to not to laugh throughout this clip had me going.
@@ace420ventura2 he is an idiot. Those old men that are back in your old hood still doing the same raggedy things they did when you were a kid. Talking crap, reliving hood stories, sitting on the porch watching cars go by, drinking beer and still having a child like mindset. Looking stupid...🤦🏾♂️
Guys , that type of life is something we shouldn't fathom. These men are hardened to that life. Shit they find funny , avg person calling the cops! Mob James lost Buntry. But he also knew that comes with that life. Anyone can get their ticket punched at any waking moment. I don't look at James as a normal man, and nobody else should.
When that's all you have as your legacy, then that's all you can be proud of. My cousin is the same way. Was making 40K a day selling & eventually got hemmed up by the feds & was doing 20 to life & figured out a loophole & now is home. His only reference point of any accomplishment in life is to brag about what he used to be & now he's a cab driver. I can see the conflict within him, he knows he sounds stupid & no one respects him for what he did & he doesn't even respect it, but in some odd way he has to feel good about something he's ever done, so you see that stupid smirk on his face as if he has something to be proud of by contributing into destroying lives by selling. I love him but I'm just comparing the two & relating the odd & awkward reminiscent proud moments of both men.
Mop James always talks about how Suge Knight wasn't a real blood member but yet, when Suge Knight told him to do something he did it. Soo you telling me, you was taking orders from a fake blood? Lol. Something ain't adding up here. Just saying.
The more I listen to Mob James I don’t know if much of what he says is true or he’s just so angry that he doesn’t care. He didn’t like a lot of what was going on there but he beat up a guy because SUGE MADE HIM. You are ur own man why not say naw nigga I’m not with that which makes me believe that once his brother became #1 on the team Mob James had to go
Bro' these guys were followers, not leaders at the end of the day. They were muscle, they were goons, but also easily influenced by someone as manipulative as Suge. Suge was an evil genius, but also ambitious and drunk on power, which partly led to his downfall. Idk how much of what Mob James says is true, but I do think he was one of the first ones from that Death Row inner circle who realized they were basically all pawns. Those dudes put in all that "work," and have nothing to show for it.
Mob James was on the outskirts of DR by the time Tupac came along! He did occasional security and managed a low rider shop financed by Suge. His knowledge of the business side of DR is sketchy at best and based on his opinion, not actual facts. Reggie is more solid with the actual inner workings of DR. Mob James is also very biased in his hatred for Suge. Not saying some stuff isn’t true from the early DR days. But he has repeatedly said in numerous interviews that Suge would get regularly strong armed by the Piru homies and have to keep writing checks to avoid getting hurt! If that was true then why did they all listen to Suge when he went to prison and told them to return their cars? And then attempt to murder one homie who refused?! If it was like Mob James was making out, they’d have told Suge to go F himself and kept all their cars and anything else they wanted!
Pac was never even signed to Death Row and thats a fact so he cant leave somewhere that he never was he owed them 3 albums to the Atlantic Corporation you know the company that gave the corporate guarantee for his bail suge didnt put up shit and Pac was leaving
@@nicstone3141 you’re almost right. It’s not the Atlantic Corporation he was signed to. He was signed to Interscope. He never left Interscope. That imprint is on every Pac album ever released. How else do you think Eminem gets green lighted to do the entire Loyal to the game album in 2004? That was all interscope
@@TheRealLeonardWashington yea and the Atlantic Corp gave the corp guarantee for his bond Interscope was a sub of them and maybe even time warner had a piece but yea u know where im coming from
At this point everything is speculation & assumptions but for those who think deeper than what is seen & known & focus in on 2Pac progression, revolutionary mindset, Black Panther upbringing & his natural born leader personality, its obvious at some point he would made moves to be his own man calling all the shots. He would have outgrown the street & gang scene & move towards uniting & building on some Black Panther community building tip, more in line with his upbringing as he matured. The man died at 25, right at the age when mind developing is ending & more maturity & serious outlook on life begins, he was cut down right at the starting line manhood truly begins. Again, all speculation, but the totality of his life from how he was raised, thoughts & ideas he shared about his outlook of the world, his consistent growth pattern, I would put my money on him eventually leaving Death Row & creating his own empire. People with a spirit & drive like his can only remain under someone even more driven to progress than they are, they'll eventually feel like they're being held back under less progressive people.

Tupac randomly shouting out Death Row East in a interview a few days before his demise is suspect. I do believe Suge Knight gave him that to convince him to stay at Death Row.
IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW! his friends & family members confirmed that he said he was leaving on multiple occasion. got into arguments with Suge & then fired Death Row staff from handlin his business, too. Pac was loyal, but he was also a Gemini showman. he repped Death Row HEAVY cause he felt like Suge looked out for him. not cause his dream was to be a Death Row member 😂😂 he was fulfilling his obligations & was gonna move forward. like he did his whole career
Agreed. Gangsta Rap history clearly shows that Tupac was eventually on his way out of Death Row. Pac was a very wise soul, and he saw the writing on the wall for Death Row before he passed. Pac only joined Death Row because he had no choice, and Suge gave him that opportunity. Had Eazy-E not passed away in early 95, Eazy would've been the one bailing him out and signing him to Ruthless Records. Pac had followed Eazy's advice in breaking away from Thug Life. Unfortunately none of this happened as Eazy-E passed and Pac died a little over a year later.
In fact, thanks to Pac Death Row still survived the collapse a bit longer. With Dre and Snoop out the door, Death Row wasn't the same. Pac was the last of the great artists on the label. Just like Ruthless Records collapsed after Eazy's death, Death Row collapsed after Pac's assassination.
@@lightbringer3304 you’re a bit wrong there. Ruthless had one of their biggest selling records thanks to Bone Thugs, so I don’t know how you figured Ruthless went downhill after Eazy!!
they probably wanted to make death row east, so that pac can go out of town while a bounty is on his head and the southside crips are looking to kill him. death row east probably would have been based in atlanta and have all the new york acts on there that are loyal to 2pac. 2pac would have left LA and worked from Atlanta under Death Row East
Tupac Shakur is on a journey right now and he isn't concerned with the human beings on planet earth anymore. He's on a higher level of being... !🙏🏿🙏🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
His story sounds legit. 2Pac and Eric B were the masterminds of Death Row East. Eric B confirmed that and said that Craig Mack was going to be the first artist on Death Row East and 2Pac was recruiting Big Daddy Kane, Greg Nice, Bobby Brown, Christopher Williams, Run DMC, and Wu-Tang Clan.
He doesn’t diss him at all. He admits to liking him as an artist, but also feels he overstepped his boundaries which he did and is the reason why he’s dead. The truth hurts but it is what it is.
@@Baybidnessss I don't think he's dead but hay 🤷🏽♂️ he hardly speaks highly of him now does he considering he's only famous for that sole reason of being vaguely associated

Death Row was so tough but some how Puffy still til this day is running around LA untouched. Haitian Jack never got touched. Suge could barely even deal with Jimmy Henchman alone. Seems like they pick and chose who to really be tough with.
I like listening to big james interviews but his recent AOD interview about him not seeing keefe d at 662 conflicts with an earlier vlad interview about him seeing keefe d at 662 🤔
Agree an DMX would of probably got black bald by the industry for bein a imposter or 2Pac next challenge. DMX saved hip hop. Because we still needed that no shirt bald headed bandana gangsta shit from 2Pac we lost so fast... An imo DMX music was actually way better than 2Pac music just my opinion..

some people think Pac & Suge were lifelong friends 😂😂 Pac joined Death Row cause he wanted to get outta Prison. not because he actually cared & wanted to be on Death Row. yall dont know how long he was ignorin Suge’s offer’s to join Death Row before 1995-96 lmaoo
Death row east. Suge told pac that he was almost 30 and he shouldn't be just rapping. Pac was working with Suge to create another label. Pac also had a few movies and shows lines up. He wasn't going to leave. He was going to expand.
That "genius" faded away pretty quickly once Dr. Dre walked out the door. Suge deserves credit, for sure, but like any executive, he wasn't shit without having talent.
I mean Suge liked his work ethic so I don't blame him wanting him da stay pac worked da hardest than any other artist I see why he was recording da way he was da get his 3 albums out da way & we know now why snoop dogg was hating
The rams were a bunch of 20yr old athletes fighting some 30 yr old gangsters convicted felons who been fighting their whole lives. Plus the mob wasn't small dudes
Dre left DR, Pac Left DR, Snoop Left DR all the Stars left DR by Time. Pac dont need DR but was cool to deal later with DR. I think we wanted go in good and what Suge think about we dont know at the End but Pac was to wise to stay in DR for ever... He can made more Money with a own Label and pac told us alot that he want make $$$ he did alot of mistakes before because money but was learned with time to handle it and thats why he want make a own Label.
I'm afraid I am going to start some trouble again and I don't mind doing it when it's Keefe D but I hate to do it with Mob James because I like and respect the brother but with all due respect, some of his statements are somewhat questionable. I think it's mostly because of his emotions. Here and in other interviews, he mentioned that Suge Knight would give him money all of the time. But then when he was justifiably emotional about his brother's passing (Bless his soul), he blamed Suge Knight for having done not a single thing for any one of the MOB members. If Suge was handing out money like candy, isn't it up to Mob James or whomever that was getting it to build their own business with it ??? I'm just saying...
James Salty McDonald's doesn't know how to take accountability. Next he gon say my teeth falling out Pac should've paid for all my teefus if he was Mob.
What mob James said is a major fact about SUGE when the Homies died. Because when the Homies were alive or the real mob bloods, SUGE KNIGHT was untouchable.
Death Row East was going to be overseen by Eric B. Pac had Makaveli Records & Snoop had Doggystyle Records which were both going to be distributed through Death Row Records. People keep saying that Pac fulfilled his 3 album deal, yet the Makaveli album still wasn’t released at the time of his death & Pac originally intended for it to be an EP/mixtape.
@@melvinhhcp3615 why do you think he was leaving when he clearly was promoting death row east right before he died??? He originally planned to leave, but Suge gave him something he could not turn down to keep him locked in.
@@melvinhhcp3615 it wasn’t, since he voluntarily announced that he would oversee the soundtracks for both Gridlocked & Gang Related that would be released on Death Row. That’s four projects that he planned on releasing through Death Row so how could he leave?

@Timmy Ggz tv stop being a foreign groupie and do the research. Tupac was going to head up Deathrow East. But he sold six million albums at $20 each. That's 120 million. His mother said he didn't get a penny from that. Only his shows. He was going to leave death row when his contract expired and start his own label where he can get 100 % of the money from his hard work instead of a label getting all his money
When he said places would clear out when Suge got there made me think of the story Will Smith told about when he met Michael Jackson....it's on RU-vid!!
MJ and Will Smith's security teams had them both hid out in the same closet lol. Someone really needs to make an animation reenactment or something of that incident 😂😂😂
People are jealous of mob James because he "changed" some people realize that you only live 1 life, why be out here doing stupid stuff to people when you could be trying to live a better life? He was with death row since day 1 so no one knows more than him. Keep spreading peace Mob James 💯💯💯
2Pac said he was gonna start Makaveli records & sign himself to the label. He would leave DR as an artist (3-album deal done) but the label's records would be distributed by DR. Also, Pac was gonna help start DR East with Suge by recruiting talent for him. People are talking conspiracy BS and not listening to Pac or looking at his actions.
Say Art of Dialogue can you please try to interview Billy Garland (Tupac father).....it would be interesting to know his thoughts about all of this and I know you will ask all of the right questions.
The fact that he rushed to complete his contract clearly shows he wasn't planning on sticking around long term , he could've taken a few years to complete his contract but he didn't for a reason
How do you know he wasn’t interested in getting as much music out in case he lost his appeal? Secondly, he was on an improved contract with DR. Despite no longer being an exclusive artist with Interscope he was on 18% royalty with DR! He was only on 8% with Interscope. This was revealed after his death as his mother endeavoured to get improved terms with interscope for his music (pre DR) which was still owned and licensed by interscope. AOEM was by some margin his biggest selling album whilst he was alive! He was promoting DR East too. His actual love (as per one his last interviews) was acting. He was interested in setting up his label to promote other artists, whilst also starting in, and writing for films.
@@its_rick_james_bich2575 he was actually on 3 album contract with death row , so for him to rush to do 3 albums in less than a year is pretty obvious , but no one took the time to break down that bogus contract so he couldn't have left if he wanted to , but his moves toward the end shows what his plans were , plus pac wanted to be his own boss not sit under Suge forever
@@ddubentertainment7594 I’ve read his contact and am aware of his 3 album commitment. Im no contact lawyer, but there were no provisions in his contract to keep him past 3 albums if didn’t want to stay! He was on a 18% royalty rate with DR…as opposed to only 8% with Interscope. There were accounting issues for sure..something uncovered more after his death. If was going to leave DR as far as his music..why would he be promoting DR East days before his death and also be not only in Vegas with Suge, but sat next to him! Obviously long term as far as his music he may have wanted to part ways with Suge at some point, but at the time of his death there is no real evidence that’s what he wanted. This also based on Eric B’s comments which come across as genuine.
Suge didn't make James do anything, it was already in his heart to do things like that. Do he take the blame for anything in his life when it comes to Death Row? He say he was getting his when it came to money but still he claim Suge wasn't doing him right. James was a gangsta but I can tell he is not the brightest guy for sure.
Damn Death Row was just wild I heard about a lot of things being from Long Beach/Compton and knowing a couple people that was associated but even back then as a 21-24 year old dude the stories just seemed so unrealistic but now I guess they weren’t lying…. 😮😳😱😂
Tupac was going to set up his label under DR. Although he was aware of the financial ramifications of having to pay another 20% to DR as apposed to being back as an exclusive artist with Interscope (there was a leaked telephone convo of Tupac discussing this). He also was going to concentrate more on his acting career and film producing. The music label was going to be to promote other artists, where he would obviously remain the headline act.
Mob James honest man I believe if he was on point a lot of things wouldn’t had been I believe him str8 up his tone of voice as if it just happened yesterday
2pac was indeed leaving death row to make his own record label and finish his unreleased album "One Nation". He was gonna go back to the east coast again to make things right. And he was gonna retire from music a year later to be a full time movie actor.
These are facts. After the one nation album, the outlaw immortalz project, and a introspective 2pac album he was done. He was semi retiring. His next album wasn't gonna be until 00-01. He said he wanted to do like a rocker and drop a album every 4 5 years. He was sick of rap. Not the art form but the politics. He saw alot of shady things in the industry.
@@s.h.p.zfinest256 is there any video of him actually saying he was going to go back to east coast to make things right? Or leave death row? Because ive only heard this from others. None from pac himself

They say Pac always stayed in the studio while at Death Row. Had he always been like that prior? Makes me think he was trying to complete the albums under his DR contract so he could leave.
Pac was ALWAYS like that! Give him a beat he like… then 10 minutes later, the song is done! I seen it myself! Pac had a crazy work ethic and super fast creative process!
I don't think 2pac would have left Death Row Records. I think things like Death Row East and Makaveli Records were just to venture out and create more space for other, especially lesser artist. Death Row had the midas touch but it always was a problem as far as who is going to drop first and who is going to drop next. especially less talented acts like the outlaws would never had a chance.
Makaveli records and Deathrow East was both gonna be on Deathrow just like Youngmoney is to Cash Money like Baby and Wayne. You're completely right, Pac would've wanted his own people on his label to keep an eye on them. Even though he was doing wild ish, Mutah said he was protective over them when when it came to Suge and the rest of the row them being so young. All of this under the Deathrow umbrella
@@brixtonmystery Fool! If snoop dogg could do it with what he had I am sure Pac would've had people assist him on whatever he needed to make his label successful.
Need to get Wendy day to set this shit straight. Pac was leaving death row he was shopping his own deal. He was even looking into giving people free day care or discounted day care through his platform. He was bringing the east coast and west coast through his album one nation that was recorded. Like Wendy day said pac felt he was done with them because he dropped 3 albums. But Wendy knew it didn't work like that. It's very interesting to give her interviews a listen because it was pacs plan post deathrow. Even frank Alexander admitted pac audited death row and was looking to do his own thing.
