Thank you very much for the tip, with the base extension and the rocket troops! Before the tip, I've absolutely failed at Brutal, now is so on medium, I manage almost every country on the first try without major problems
The speed in which you respond to the enemy is brutal and quick. Just like what GDI commanders would have done. Simple with overwhelming armour and weapon superiority.
@@FireArnie me either. After having been playing the game for 12 years, I am still learning something new in the game nowadays. :) That is actually why the game never gets out-of-date and keeps the loyal fans alive.
I once played as nod And allied myself with a gdi ai team and went up against one nod ai, I was doing all the heavy lifting while the GDI team was just sending rifle men or pitbulls to the enemy base.
Looks like they've made the Scrin Brutal AI much more aggressive in KW. On an even 4v4 GDI vs Scrin, my GDI team looses everytime because the Scrin are constantly sending waves of Walkers and Desintegrators to my team, which just doesn't build any units to fight them. In 5 Restarts I was the only one fighting the Scrin. with partial success I might add, but even I cannot deal with 4 Scrin Armies at the same time.
Yeah I know what you mean. I personally prefer TB because I dont like the AI in KW. I just dont enjoy playing as much even though the extra units and sub factions are cool.
Trilly Fan I love both of those units - they look fantastic and pack so much firepower, but it's a big commitment to get army of those units together. To save time and resources, I stick to the smaller units to pump out guys faster, and make more in case I need to split up my army.
yes I think those are the slowest units in the game (compare with overlord in cnc generals), I tried building those unit to attack and always lose the game.. well your tactic is rushing with infantry and light units, very nice, I will try it!
Trilly Fan The same happens to me! If I'm in complete control of the battle and not trying to win quickly for a video, then I'll take the time to build up an army with Mammoths, Juggernauts, and air units since they're all really cool looking and fun. By putting all your effort into light units instead of upgrades/additional base structures, it's easier to thwart off the numerous waves of enemies the AI throws at you. Good luck and have fun!
Obviously your're using some kind of mod giving you a time advantage. I've played this map several times and the onslaught starts around 1min and 30secs into the game. It's impossible to beat. I note that there is a good 3mins before you're attacked with a mere handful of units and a full 5 mins before the full assault starts. Why mod it to make yourself look good? No doubt you're gonna poo-poo my comments but anyone who plays this game will know the truth.
I think most RU-vid skirmish players do this. I’ve watched supposed “brutal” matches and I’m wondering how they don’t get swamped in the first 2 minutes because that’s exactly what happens to me. I start to feel crazy because I wonder did we are playing the same game.
