Why there are no Anti-Aircraft at Scrins Base? ... actually Brutal AI had one on the most hit location. Why did the Brutal AI never attacking you with their Flying Crabs and Flying Fish-bones?
respect for your aim . I already have problems against 1 opponent on medium and you kill 6 brutal opponents here. As I see it is important to strengthen the defense first and then try to destroy the opponents bit by bit. My fault is certainly that I use very little aviation.
I see why you went with reaper. This would have been a nightmare with planetary assault carriers and devastators harassing you. Your tiberium field balancing was impressive. The way you used your firehawks/commandos to gain breathing room - expert. 👌👌
I don't go with classic scrin as GDI only with reaper 17 not scrin because they will be cheating with the planetary assault carriers and devastator warships I only go with Classic scrin as the marked of kane because of the venom helicopters.
C&C Kanes Wrath is perhaps the pinnacle of RTS games, I absolutely love C&C Generals but the meatiness of the units in this game is unparralleled except maybe by the Experimental Units in Supreme Commander. You really get the feeling of chaos erupting and you actually get really immersed in this game. I personally loved playing as Zocom fighting against brutal Scrin with purely infantry since Zocom get the best GDI infantry upgrades and man was that fun. Feeling like your infantry is getting completely overwhelmed by Tripods and the Scrin Airforce. The factions in this game are perfect, i'm surprised that this wasn't a more popular RTS seriously and I wish they make another someday with the Scrin involved. Starcraft is fun and very competitive but the units have no meatiness at all. This is also why I really did not take to Red Alert 3 either, I just prefer the more grounded style of RTS. The only criticism is that I really like secondary economy like you get in Generals and that isn't really in Kanes Wrath except the Reaper-17's unique growth accelerator and the Tiberium Spikes. But the Tiberium does regrow at least and I like the dynamic of Blue Tiberium being a more valuable resource than green. Also the game is hard capped at 30fps -_- ....
That's bloody crazy... I can't even do half or 1/3 of that. You should host a show teaching how you do this and what's important and what isn't. I have always felt eventually these types of games will finally make a return and id be down to learn how you become so good
Don't be fooled, this is easy because enemies can only walk through the one chokepoint. If this was on the rocktagon against say 2 scrin he would stand no chance
I was watching the storm column in the north west the whole match thinking, its a perfect opportunity to use snipers calling in juggernaut bombardment but its was eventually rushed with slingshots and other fodder. There were snipers right there, I was like... '...maaaan...'
ok, this was simply amazing, but, honestly, anyone didn't felt like there was something left? like i was expecting to see those 4 thrusters and 8 juggernauts whoop some ass before the end, eitherways, that was amazing man!
I watched it like I'm watching a movie. First of all, you have a very good defense. You managed the planes well. You took the rival robots with the engineer. You showed fine details like transporting saboteurs into enemy territory. 👏
Rookie I don’t see why not :) always good to have some other compstompers , and Thankyou , you’ll get there too , but it does take time , so just enjoy making videos instead of trying to get somewhere , that way your growing and enjoying at the same time
as soon as the AI unlocks their super weapon its a race against time to destroy it but in your situation at the start you are suppose to be on the defensive.
Thx for bit of nostalgia, I grown up watching my dad playing CNC generals 1 vs 7 hard AI, loved computer games since those times) But I never could do it like you) Much respect)
HOW DO YOU NOT PANIC UNDER ALL THIS?! I literally start panicking as soon as a simple medium AI attacks my harvester, BUT HERE YOU ARE HANDLING 5 BRUTALS?! HOW?!! Also, a few questions : Why so many juggernauts? Aren't they horrible at hitting moving targets? What were you doing with your firehawks at 14:21?
@@Groza_Dallocort Ah, alright. But still, HOW? Either I just am terrible at tiberium wars (was fairly good at tiberian sun) or they really made things hard.
@@liamcooper5202 I know that is a problem with Supreme Commander but those battles can have up to 1000 units from each player and the game only support single core due to it's age. Not sure if Tib Wars got the same problem
@@Groza_Dallocort the only way you would get 1000 units on screen and fighting would be to have rile squads. If someone gets 50 tanks its over for the other team just about
I knew there was some fishy thing going on before watching it , the map only have a narrow way entry but still their air and super powers are too difficult to deal with
For GDI I like to use mammoth tanks plus rig, eventually they progress to star rank and yeah they hit hard. Use them for defensive purposes. It saves money.
Why do you not build mamoth thanks with railgun Upgrade very strong, they are better in the defens. And helicopter. One entrance to defense is not really difficult. Only the Super weapons to destroy is dificult.
I don't know if you'll see this on a 6 month old comment but if you do.... There's a few things to consider here, the primary one being that he's in a base with only one entrance/exit so he's only defending a single bottleneck. He's also fighting 5 enemies which means that bottleneck will be under constant attack. That determines which units to use. A mammoth tank with railguns is pretty powerful but it's also big and expensive, railguns are also pin point precise and somewhat slow to fire. Juggernauts on the other hand are inaccurate but deal splash damage at long range. The Shatterers are similar in that they also deal splash damage with decent range. It's also important to note that units usually just shoot the first enemy they see, that's also somewhat important. So if he used mammoth tanks he'd have fewer units on the front line wasting shots on targets already under fire by other mammoth tanks. The Juggernaut/Shattered combo though turns that same choke point into an actual killing field by filling the area with inaccurate but still powerful ordinance and thanks to the small size of the Shatterers and longer range of the Juggernaut he can fit more units. If he used the mammoth tanks he would get overrun by overwhelming numbers but by using units that deal splash damage the enemy can't fit enough of their own units in the gap fast enough to break his front line. Some smaller details is that it's a more "hands off" defense allowing him to focus on other things and you can fix a Juggernaut with a fast building 500 credit engineer instead of having to construck another slow building 2500 credit tank.
Impressive, but why did you insist on manually targeting everything? It doesn't say this a mouse-only play, so why not just attack-move and let them do their thing? You would've saved so many infantry from the buzzers.
Nice play But why you don't use juggernaut in long range mode (using sniper unit near enemy building and engage attack from your own base) Because juggernaut is one of my favourite tank (due to unlimited range when you using sniper as their eyes) when the attack is engage, the juggernaut is always say "Fire In The Sky"👍👍👍
wow, knew this game was bad, but not that bad. the person who made enemy ai knew how to make them move but neglected the basics of strategy.... in a strategy game. not even "move as a group"
