Animals do understand that you’re taking care of them. Whatever it may be. She knew you were gonna make her feel better. Keep up the good work just love watching you. Share these wonderful animals.❤
She did not have patience or care for that sheep. You wanna see patience and care find a taxidermist or a native community and watch them skin an animal they can do that without nicking. And they have one chance where sheerinf you can do in layers
@@Sabi1234567890Asdf you're comparing working with a dead animal vs a live one. Obviously you can take more time and care with a dead one since they are inanimate, you can't expect a sheep to stay perfectly still for 2 hours during a sheer. I do think more time can be given than what they get, but you are comparing apples to oranges when they aren't comparable.
@@h.s.6269 it dont have to be 2 hours. To sheer an animal in 12 minutes and claim you took your time is not a accurate statement when you are causing injury to that animal.my barber takes longer than that and I have less hair.
made me feel like crying at the end when u was praising her...saying she was like a limp noodle...and a pure champ...loved how u and ur wife made sure shes ok and pet her
In high school my friend and I rescued a long haired guinea pig from a biology classroom who had terrible mats and a one inch open sore on her back. We spent two hours with fingernail scissors freeing her from all that hair, then took her to the vet for successful surgery on her cyst. She was such a happy guinea pig after that, and we found her a good forever home. The person in this video should feel good every day to help the animals feel better, with their amazing skill. Thank you for posting.
@@SquishyTheVampire Unfortunately, sometimes the teachers get so overwhelmed with their students and their work that they entrust their care to their students. That is fine and all, IF they check to make sure they are caring for the animal properly. Sounds like this teacher had to much faith in their students. And wasn't hands-on enough. 😮💨
Poor girl was so tired of carrying that matted weight around. It looks like she just wanted to chill and luxuriate in the relief when you were finished. And amazing work, 2 small nicks is a miracle with that dense, solid wool.
@@Sabi1234567890Asdf this is very ignorant. The wool is trash and if it wasn't, the most valuable wool comes off in one huge, smooth blanket. Im excited that you can skin a dead, nonmoving animal with min fat on the hide, but I see you know nothing about shearing. 🤘🏼😂
@@rightchoiceshearing I may not know much about sheering. On the other hand sheering a sheepbim 12 minutes in one layer while leaving injury not cool. Take the time to do 2 layers if you cant do it in 1 without injury. I'm not against sheering at all I can see it was needed. I'm against rushing and causing un nessasary injury. Yes if the sheep was fighting that's understandable. I can skin while it's not the same the fundamentals are the same.just please take a basic cource or learn from others and dont rush it. I take hours to skin my animals while others take minutes. Take the time theres no reason you couldn't double or triple the time to ensure a vit with no nicks
@@rightchoiceshearing yes it comes off in a blanket... but let me ask you this why did it have to come off in 1 layer than sheering 2/3 of the wool. Then go over the last 1/3 doubling the time and having more control 12 minutes x 2 is 24 minutes or 12 minutes x3 is 36. So why couldn't you take 30 minutes in your time so valuable that you have to rush and injure an animal? Or was it you rushed to maximise profit?
Did 000000000 just want to announce they skinned a bear perfectly?!!! Gross! What a small ickhead! I was so enjoying these videos and thought I would read what nice things people had to say about this poor sheep and her buddy the pbp... but no...
@@Bronchiticsyeah, I wonder, too. I’m thinking that if it was just dirty, yes, but it almost looked felted, so, I don’t know. It would take a lot, I think.
As a former cattle and sheep rancher, and a spinner for over 4 decades, I very much appreciate the care and skill you demonstrate in your videos. This girl was particularly sweet. Well done. ❤
There's an episode of Bondi Vet where a rescue sheep has 18 kilograms of wool removed after being found wandering the bush. The shearer left a lot more nicks in the skin than I've ever seen you do with the rescues and overdue shearing jobs that you do.
I believe in that episode they were worried about his stress levels and as he was an entire male they wanted to get it over an done with as quickly as possible as the more stressed he got the more adverse effects he'd suffer or get too dangerous for those involved due to his hormones. He was also lost very young so had little to no experience being handled
To be fair the sheep looked a lot worse than the one in this Video, wool grown all over his eyes and so heavy it stretched his skin. When they were done you could see a lot of loose skin around his neck that propably made sheering him much more difficult
@@tinarenschler7010 they more than likely had to rush to get the wool off without stressing the sheep out a few cuts or a heart attack I know what ones I’d rather have
I watched a few shearing Videos of matted sheeps to compare and I have to say that you do a stunning work, way more gentle and caring then most others. I saw similar sheep coming out bloodied... congrats, love your videos and your personality. Greetings from Germany
Penelope was enjoying her time so much that she wanted that shearing extended...😁 look at how fresh and light she feels...Wonderful work from a super talented woman 👌💙
On days like I'm having right now, when my PTSD kicks in full force, I find your videos SOOOOOOO HELPFUL TO REFOCUS, RELAX, REVISUALIZE. THANK YOU FOR POSTING!!!♡♡♡☆☆☆
My grandfather raised sheep and seeing the tender care which you sheer them with to bring them relief brings a tear to my eye and a smile to my heart. Thank you
Now I understand why I always see sheered matted sheep leave with some nicks. Sharp sheers, mixed with matting so close to the skin would make sense. Thanks for teaching me something new.
Do you have a wool blanket of a sheep that you sheered? I've watched video on the process of turning sheep's wool into thread and then into blankets. Quite a process.
her little legs..🐑.she knows ur trying to help🐑💖...and that glance she gives u said it all..""THANKYOU💖👌👑..u really are a awsome human...helping these babies the feeling of reward you must get ...must be amazing...Thankyou to u and ur wife for careing...👌
I love that her and her piggy friend are together ❤ as Always you amaze me when you shear! You're very good at it and the sheep and sometimes llamas really seem to enjoy it 😊
I feel like when she decided to lay down for a few moments, it was kinda like taking a seat after being shocked, for her. A little moment of just "wow, am I really free now? Did that really just happen??" until it gets through her mind that her matting is gone, and she really IS free now! 💖💖
You're so gentle with these beautiful animals, and it's obvious they trust you so much. Thankyou for reliving these beautiful creatures of much suffering. Hope you're feeling heaps better, Penelope after your hair cut. Thank God for people like Katie and Darian, you guys are so awesome!!!. Love to you both, and cuddles for Penelope and her little piggy mate!!. 💕💕 🐑 🐖
This took me back to the series made for television The Thorn birds, with Barbara stanwyck and Richard Chamberlain, in this series they had a sheep shearing contest, so glad to see one dedicated to one's craft and that belongs. Human beings in nursing homes should be so lucky.
I love to watch how you help those sheep...they are the most generous, wonderful creatures and seeing them freed from overgrown straitjackets of wool somehow eases my view of challenges in life. They feel SO MUCH better after you help them. Great job sharing your skill and such touching stories, thank you!!! ❤😂
Love your channel! I’m sure all these animals love seeing you guys. And your voiceovers always get me 😂 the perfect limp noodle! Lol hope you guys have a great day and your channel keeps growing!
Thank you for taking so much care and effort to avoid nicking ❤ Because, too often, I see animals "professionally" sheared who look like they've been attacked by something (and covered in antiseptic, too)! Your expertise made all the difference 😊
That is so awesome that you shared this sheep and she feels much lighter and not hot in her overgrown wool and she feels cooler as well.Thank you for doing an awesome job of shearing this beautiful sheep
Yvonne,I made a typing more than a few typing errors last night when I sent you my note that didn't correct or notice it sorry about that but I am partially sighted with limited vision so it is hard for me see what I am typing and reading and last night I didn't use my lighted magnifier
I've watched a bunch of your episodes, and I am always so impressed 👏 I've never cleaned anything bigger than dogs 🐕 with serious tangles, but the owners always come to me after they have been refused by the professionals, for if the dogs are ill ,or 🤒 have badly abused fur neglect. Ps. I never charged anyone nor has anyone offered me anything, but it's for the dogs 🐕 that I do it.
What a eye opener! What a great sheep to lay there and let you work on her. What a great job. Of the few videos I've watched so far, this is tops! Keep up the great work you worker bee!
