November 22, 1995 - Robert lends a helping hand to reformed gang member Ricky, but when Zaria takes a romantic interest in the young man, her father gets up in arms.
Zaria had a lot of boyfriends and her parents ain't trip about none of them but him, but on the bright side I love how they trust her to make good decision
The problem wasn't he was an ex-gang member, it was he wa still hanging with gangs and as you saw at the end of the episode, he just learned to give a second opportunity to people who wants to chance their lives for the best, just like her husband was already doing. So, in the case of TK, they were trying to help him to improve his life.
There's a different between real friends and fake friends, Ricky had fake friends, his friends didn't like the fact that Ricky changed his life, so they wasn't his real friends.
This was a good show but it could have been better at the gate of the mom or depth I just thought the characters was too perfect like they never made any mistakes it was just too much I mean The Cosby show did show up other stuff I thought The Cosby show they were actingso good it felt realistic but on this show it just feels like I'm watching a TV show not do love the way they get the black family I mean everybody is natural the mom is natural the daughters are natural no weave I love that out that's one thing I will not take from the show the way they showed the characters is beautiful usually always get the dark skin tone her lighter skin wife and they did they made his wife be melanated just like he's melanated which is beautiful

the way ricky yell on these punks look he was bout to scrap on these guys. I hate wen those guys took advantage of him. but on later Eps Zaria n him couldn't hold on to each other
The way cece put ripped head on nick was funny n remind of the tex avery- droopy cartoon wen the red dog wig was missing n he rip both spike n the black cat wig head cap off
They let they daughter date all kinds of thugs. Ex thugs, playa thugs, popular jocks, judgemental rude nerds sheesh wish i had her life but then again never mind i don't want a abusive short lived relationship
