ROBERT TOWNSEND WORK GOES UNNOTICED ALOT I DAMN NEAR LOVED EVERYTHING HE PUT OUT !!! this use to be my show I have the slightest idea why this series is so hard to find
gee skin You are right. This may be the only Black Themed Show where all the main females were dark skinned. Cece, Zaria, Geri were all dark skinned. :)
She was putting in work back in the day. She had a reoccurring role on the last season of In The House as a love interest of Marion (LL Cool J). She can carry those roles well.
I remember those days in 05-06 i used to watch reruns of The Parent'Hood on Tbs everyday alongside with family guy. tyler perrys house of payne. saved by the bell. Sex and the City. now is on bounce tv. nowadays tv is dead
There were many missed opportunities where he could have been brought back. The episode of Robert being shot was one of them, he was not even mentioned or spoken of in this episode. It almost seemed that Michael never existed after the third season. I remember Kenny Blank stating he wanted to focus on music and behind the camera of TV/Movie production (he has directed many episodes of popular shows and worked as a production guy). I'm glad he was able to direct a few episodes of this show before he left.
Gwendolyn Baker word tv one is trash nthn but reality shows n basic reruns of Cosby. n Jefferson's. I miss when they used to Martin everyday along with the other 90s classic n I miss parenthood
I wish we had a sixth season that could have tied up all loose ends on the show. I would had storylines like Michael coming back for a 'black history' themed episode where he's hired to work on a TV series that features black people but the writers are white and the storylines were stereotypical and he had to make a decision as the producers were well connected in the industry. Zaria decided to attend a school close to home and got an apartment with a few of her friends and we see storylines of typical roommate situations including an attempted live in boyfriend/folks short on bill money/etc, Nicholas starts high school but gets bused to a honors school across town that he regrets but agrees to stick it out due to the academic rigor. Cece gets accepted into a prestigious girls academy and we find out the hidden talents she has. TK enters the workforce full time and decides to start a business; Robert agrees to give him a loan under the guise that he's co-owner and has authority and TK has to be all in on the venture. Jeri accepts a mayoral appointment to be commissioner of education for the city. Gordon falls in love with a white girl who's a hot science nerd he met during summer school (he started a semester early) and gets married to her on the finale. TK as now in the events business, produces his wedding in an unorthodox manner.
Why didn't they have a sixth season? That would have been sweet. A sixth season with 24 episodes would have been enough to tie up the show. Maybe a guest appearance from Michael and Wendell would have been sweet.
The final episode of Parent Hood which was filmed as a season finale not series finale as WB aired this in Summer 99 instead of the 98-99 television season. Most folks didn't catch this season until it aired in syndication, many people though the show ended with the shooting cliffhanger, I was like the only one who caught the last season first run that WB did a poor job of promoting, lol
I Felt Like the Sister Was Trying to make the bride & Groom Day Special . . && Honesty Kelly or the sister should Have Never Invited Rob Ex Rather they knew if they Dated or Not , But im Happy they was able to come together && Get Re Married 🙏💙💯
That fight was unnecessary. Jerry was doing the most so he can have his friends there. And what they mean, they still married so what’s the point. They acting like they really broke up lol
Nicki T.B, I so agree Nikki. I mean, I blame Celeste for this. Over 300 people for a small ceremony is way too many people. It should have been just family or something. Roberts brother Kelly was right! I blame Jerris sister for this. And Robert doesn't need another bachelor party. He can invite his friends but no bachelor party. I think both of them were being a little unreasonable.
Yeah i feel the last season was like filler episodes to continue from the cliffhanger from season 4. It was alright but yeah wasn't the same without faizon in it
