Bernie Sanders Ellen actually looks rather great despite getting older. Because apparently getting old means “ugly” and “shriveled up.” Aging is a natural process so good luck when you get there. We all get old and it's a blessing to even live that long when people die tragically so young all the time. To be old means to live a full and complete life with more experience and widsom and maturity and gratefulness and that is an achievement that not many people are able to reach because lives get cut short too often.
The main reason Addison stayed with Derek was because she saw her parents stay together in a crummy marriage. There is no other reason to stay with a man who hates you and loves other woman

That’s a little bit of a stretch. Derek didn’t hate Addison. A part of him loved her, but the minute the situation with the best friend happened his feelings changed. And I can understand Derek and Addison still trying because they had been together for 11 years. And despite Dereks flirtation or sexual relationship with Meredith, he wanted to try with Addison. You can’t just throw away 11 years of marriage. I can understand that.

Ellen Pompeo is actually 3 years older than Eric Dane (Mark) even though her character Meredith is supposed to be at least ten years younger than him. The makeup and hair department have so far done a good job of making her look like someone in their 20’s but In the bar scene here, she really does look older than him.
I’m sorry but she looks the same in the bar. I think it’s a factor of setting for you as that is what some people base to judge a persons age for ex. Hair style clothing accessories speech than actual physical attributes she looks the same if not younger with her hair down and more casual attire. Meredith is a very beautiful woman she’s one of those that even as they age they always looking stunning. she still looks as stunning as she did then now ten plus years after the start of the show.
Principe Des Calumet interesting comments/ insight. Her beauty in this scene, I do not questionI but the illusion of her being 10+ younger than Mark is just that, an illusion. If you look back to the pilot episode she looks like a young girl and the time line from then to this scene in the bar is supposed to be less than a year.
@@lindacottan2738 she looks just the same as she did in the beginning maybe a little older but heck she's hurting, a mother with Alzheimer's, a boyfriend who she finds out is married by his wife showing up and then begging for him to pick her but he chose his wife but still gives her looks of longing and then she held a bomb in her hand shortly before Mark shows up in Seattle, so yeah she might be a tad older but life in that 6 months was anything but easy, don't forget she and Derek snuck around the first few months before coming out to the public and then the wife shows up..
Tara Herren merideth had a hard neglected child hood from both her mother and father , when Derek chose Addison over her it broke her heart because once again a man she loved left her for someone else, she’s has grace beauty and is trying to hold it togather the best she can. Mark showing up when he did made Derek realize that it was merideth he was in love with , yes it took both parties to break the marriage and Derek admired that he was emotionally absent in his marriage to Addison but Addison was a clingy woman because her father she believed for years cheated on her mother so she was looking for a man that she could trust and Derek never cheated on her not even at the prom if you remember it didn’t take Addison long to meet up with Mark that says she had always been in touch with him even as she was supposed to be working it out with Derek , she played a part in the break up as much as Derek did they both were wrong , he was never really in love with Addison , he loved her and they had a strong friendship with all their college friends I think they married because they both thought that’s the next step after graduation for her yes she loved Derek but it was about appearances and looking good togather two Drs working and being out in public but she was shallow and clingy wanting constant attention from him or any man that affirmed who she was and what she wanted , they had different goals as the relationship progressed, that’s only my take on things
I agree with Mark. She didn't cheat on her husband out of boredom. Addison waits till after she gets caught cheating and her husband moved on to fight for him. She looked ridiculous he didn't want her anymore.

McSteamy, they were both arrogant jack asses but Mark was more relatable when it came to Meredith, Derek was constantly judgemental of Meredith, he chose Addison and then Rose but he always would give her these looks and never truly let her move on made her fault she had commitment issues and trust issues, Mark liked her right off the bat and we're instant friends no judgement.

Addison only wanted another chance but Derek wasn't in it he faked his way and wasn't honest about how he felt about Meredith until Christmas months after she had arrived. Meredith deserved someone who didn't lie about their wife and who constantly judged her he may have loved Mer but he never understood her nor did he try he just judged her instead.
I just finished a long conversation with Netflix about the fact that they don't want to PAY for the licensing in South America. I hope that Shonda's crew reads it and does something about it...………... Reply
