It's time! We try to take at least one "big" trip each year and this year our goal is to see Yellowstone, but we're taking the long way there. The path less traveled, but with more miles.

Next time, tell your buddy (Black Hills Taco) to take you through "Indian Creek" outta Scenic. You guys passed right by it 😅. Great overlanding trail if you go all the way through. Feels like you are in the Serengeti or something.

Great stuff as usual. Love to see Iowa plates getting after it on the trails. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the trip.

Great video love the content and the mixup of locations and what’s going on in the video and the only feedback I would tell you is be a little more stable on your shots as I would like to see what you’re looking at from a first person’s perspective otherwise thank you so much for sharing, I hope your trip ended well. I’m still watching the videos.

I'm surprised I haven't gotten any Edward Norton comments yet. Everyone used to say I sound like Norton. Lol. I've been well! Just been busy with other things and the other channel isn't as lucrative with all the changes YT/Google have been making lately so I've been focusing more on my other interests. Heck yeah we brought sticks. I don't travel without some especially in bear country. :D Thanks for stopping by!

So South Bay Florida to Vancouver BC is 3500 miles and 3500 back = 7000 miles. 6000 miles would have to be 4 round trips from Canada to Mexico and back 4 times.

New sub here. Not an off roader, but maybe some day. Can you talk about your communication set up on a video. Is it a cb, ham radio, or neither ? Great camera work on the videos!!

How do you go about finding trails and ensuring they are within the capabilities of your truck?
@HighjakSecondary
@HighjakSecondary 2 года назад
Good question. Mostly just a lot of research via RU-vid videos, forums, Instagram, blogs, and talking to locals when possible. AllTrails is another great source. Sometimes the search is very specific. Other times I just run into areas and trails that I’d never even heard of when searching via one of those sources and I’m like “That looks cool! Let’s do that!”.

I wish you would share your “waypoints” or track. I want to head to the Black Hills this July and then to Yellowstone. Love the Iowa plates, didn’t pay attention to what county your from.
