yess i need more heavy content, flux just seemed a bit one note and bland compared to the rest of the recent stuff, so im excited to see what she does next and im so happy we got this
There is no better word to describe her then unique. She is a contradiction within herself. And, she has a style that's so distinct, yet so hard to describe.
She is one of THE most versatile artists ever. She will have a very long career because she dares to go left when everybody else is going right. That's a true artist right there. I love how she does her own thing. And never copies anyone else. That's so admirable of her. You can tell that she has full creative control in terms of what she wants to put out. It's funny because i remember listening to her first ever EP called "Bubblebath" i believe. Back when she was going under the name of "That Poppy" instead of "Poppy". I used to think that she would be one of those cutesy bubblegum pop artist that was aiming more towards the mainstream side of music. But then when she released "Am i a girl?" and "I disagree" my jaw literally fucking dropped. It legitimately felt like three completely different artists. This was when i really paid more attention to her music. And not saying that her pop songs wasn't great or anything because they were brilliant as well and "Lowlife" was a banger too. But I've personally paid more attention when she released "I disagree". I just really loved how she would mix heavy metal with a bit of pop upbeat sounds too which i liked. Her sounds sounded like it had split personality but in the best way possible lolol😂😂💀 I wish more artists were like Poppy and were more willing to explore and drastically switch genres after genres. Then maybe the music industry would ACTUALLY be more interesting but unfortunately all that record labels care about nowadays is just 🤑 🤑 🤑 👎
As a Cat owner (well they own me) this describes every emotion in detail. And captures it all with her masterpiece of work here! Ranked high on my charts!
@@Prince-Silly It's like Electronic, Rock, Metal, House, Experimental in one. I love it and hope the next album is more avant-garde stuff like this and I Disagree album
i love this so much!!! mixing the randomness of your older music and the sheer heaviness of your newer music is perfect!!! hopefully you'll make more of this!
Really dig how she incorporated the cat into the actually song, tying it all together very nicely. I’ve made some gnarly basses with cats as sound source. Dirty tune here, tasteful clipping. nice work
I mean you can still go for it. Anyone can be a musician. It show you explore your craft. You can use her stuff as inspiration. But yeah I see what you mean. He style is so bent and flexible. Always changing and evolving.
@@Brandon-bc5um lmao I absolutely despise her last album flux. I like this song because it is harder and her vocals are easier to hear, and plus it’s more catchy. The stans think everything she does is good, but really true. I’m not afraid to admit not everything’s good music. I also don’t really listen to her album. Her new music is weird, chaotic and takes some getting used to. But I think this song is better than everything post I Disagree.
@@flinthuxleythefox All music is good music. The reason why that is true. Is because the fans are subjective. Just because one group of people do no like a type of music does not mean that others will not. The key to having your music be good. Is your understanding of music composition. And no you do not have to like every piece of music you hear from anyone. I did like Flux.
100% here for Pi content. Analog synth vibes and meow samples from the King (Pi, obv) himself. Happy, thank you, more please. This mos def ranks as one of my favorite offerings from Poppy.
Each time she releases music, it sounds so much more powerful and she’s honing her star power. I love this song so much. Like space galaxy nu metal bass vibes.
I am so in love with this - we got a cat a few months ago and this totally sums up our relationship ☺️😺 She even sits there while I play Poppy out loud and purrs snuggled up to me. Love her 🥰
Lol, why can I see this being use in a tick tock whenever the cat is walking around doing a catwalk 😂😂😂😂 (also 3.14 is the beginning of the sequence of pi…wait…is her cat called pi? Awwe if that’s the intention that’s a cute name for a cat 🎀👸)
I don't get why this isn't being played live in the arenas she is currently playing. It would sound massive with live drums, guitar and screams. And yet 'Her' which to me is a small sounding song gets played every night.
Increíble como puede sacar una canción sobre un gato. A pesar de no tener tanta letra como otras canciones de ella, me encantó la canción, y como siempre, la parte del grito no puede faltar, y esos "Miau" le dan un toque especial.
I have a feeling it will be out on March 14? 🤔 (As in an album or on Spotify, etc. Of course I could be wrong…) Loving this… I’m thinking your fans (such as myself) that are cat lovers will be rocking out to this the hardest… 😽🤘🏻💗👑
