Sub 3:00 is 100% possible but would require the best luck of all time. I was already ridiculously lucky with how fast the portal lit on this run lol. In my testing though, I did have the portal light instantly once or twice. If I built the portal perfectly, and it did light instantly, I think 2:40 is the best you can get with this route.
Bro I tried lighting it with the crafting table, tick warped for 3h (with carpet mod) and it didn't light so I tought it was impossible (it did work with planks) (Fuck carpet mod lol)
i was kinda disappointed that you didnt actually use the music disk you put in. That would have been the cream of the crop ("wait" would have been almost perfect, although in a real-time run "ward" or "blocks" would have been safer). Otherwise really epic
I think you could maybe shave off an extra second to get sub-2:40 by slightly optimizing portal placement by doing the corners of the portal as a double as well, and moving the lava before breaking the cobblestone (just increases the chances it lights by a tiny amount, it’s not super necessary), but this is a hard time to beat for sure
