Series celebrating the nation's craftsmanship and the recent renaissance in traditional crafts, presented by Monty Don. Three hopefuls who are passionate about learning green wood craft are put through their paces by the country's leading practitioners. The students quickly discover that the craft calls for precision, dexterity and patience. The trainees learn how to cleave the raw material; to turn blocks of wood on the pole lathe; and to manipulate the components fresh out of a steam bender.

The instructor is obviously very sensitive and skilled--what more could one ask for with a new learning experience like this?

Perseverance, yes. I'm not sure about 'talent', though. I don't think her problem is purely a matter of lack of muscular strength. Sarah is painfully uncoordinated, and that is not a typically female problem in so far as most women are quite good with their hands.

Hey, This is a good video here. The most comprehensive woodworking plans that I have ever used was Toms Magic Wood (just google it). Without a doubt it contains the most helpful woodworking projects that I have ever tried.
