Thank you!! There are a few channels with videos on everything you need to get started in this hobby. The upfront cost can be high but good aluminum molds will last a lifetime
Hello! we have a lot of people in Russia doing this. The molds are made both from aluminum, but more from acrylic stone. A lot of cnc machines for sale at a good price. I also make lures for trout fishing but from a different silicone.
Just found your channel yesterday and had to subscribe. I really like the color on these-it would make a great tube for smallmouth. Keep up the good work.
Hi awesome looking lures you got there. I just picked up this mold in a trade any idea who the manufacturer is and what kind of price is this mold going for? Oh and any luck catching fish with them? I have shot mine about 6 times and they pour really nice not sure if ill keep it tho im more a crappie pan fish guy but yeah nice lures you made i might get a c block sometime also.
Thanks for watching!! The mold is made by one of the companies out of Ukraine called baitmolds. I’ll leave the exact mold linked below. It is currently priced at $90 and shipping from them is usually around $30 so roughly a $120 mold. I have caught fish with them on a drop shot, Ned rig and even a finesse jig trailer. I also have a buddy who loves using them on the mini max chatterbaits. baitmold.com/plastic-bait-mold/aluminum-mold/aluminum-w152-3-cavity-3-5-inch-90-mm/
@@N2TW_customlures Thank you I appreciate the help. I actually believe mine is 3" what all kinds of fish have you landed with these? And what size hook would work on a new setup or drop shot would you recommend for them? Sorry so many questions just thinking about getting into something a little different then crappies all the time.
@@cichlidlover27 no worries. I have caught largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass on them. For the Ned rig I usually run either a 1/0 or 2/0 hook and then for drop shotting I almost almost go with a 1/0 owner mosquito hook and nose hook it
Great thank you I will give them a try next spring on the river. Where are you all from? Been watching several of your videos and some nice looking stuff you have put together.
@@cichlidlover27 grew up in Missouri and then traveled all over for work the last several years. I’m currently in California but will be moving back to the Midwest within the next year or two
Huh I always buy my soft plastics been thinking of dabbling in it but... I only use three kinds a 2inch forktail and 5inch fork tail minnow and my fav the 7 inch curl tail and that goby looks like a small whiting might have to get some of them
The upfront cost of lure making can be expensive but after you buy all the equipment it’s not too bad. I have similar molds for all those lures so I’ll make some of those in the future so you can see it. Send us a message on our Instagram page if you would like to buy anything or just talk about the hobby
