Man, you had some bad luck that day, getting stung by something and then slipping on that bog board. Nickels and Frizzle were cruising the AT. Glad you got to meet them, and big congratulations to them for their summit on Katahdin ❤🎉🎉 The Appalachian music you edit into your videos had a different feel on todays video, kinda bittersweet I guess. After hearing it on every video for months while following you on the AT, its coming to a end soon. It never got old and I know when I hear something even similar to it Ill think of Captain Jack hiking the AT and the beautiful trail❤❤ Holy cats, over 35 miles, thats crazy. I can imagine when you're that close to the end goal, you just want to get it done and finish. ❤ ✌️🫶
Wow what a day. I think you need to change your hike to a YO-YO as I’m not ready for your journey to finish. It’s been amazing and one of the best videos of a thruhike I’ve seen. Sweet dreams and happy trails.🤟🏻🥾🏔
Awesome, knock’n down the miles - congrats, just take time to enjoy the last bit of this journey😊 Sooo cool you saw Frizzle & Nickels! Saw them a lot with Stick the Eagle.
So many miles, congrats on your personal best, but man, how exhausting. 3 days through the 100 MW, is impressive. So close, yeah, butbwill miss your vlogs. Go get that mountain top
You're getting so close. Glad you are not allergic to wasps/etc stings. They still hurt and Last a couple days, but you'll be at your destination by then. Wow, 35 miles is a long day.
C-Jack...are you not packing a First Aid Kit?! Recommended to at least have a basic one, with a creme or Benadryl for an insect sting. Many people who venture into the woods worry most about Bear encounters...but the two most common types of injury in the back country are : Trip-and-Fall and Bee Stings
Ouch!! Your poor hand and I know exactly what you're talking about with those boards. They need to p ut hardware cloth on all boards because over time with rain and moss, etc. they are like ice practically and so dangerous! You need to take some time and rest so you don't get yourself hurt. Be safe!!!!!
WOW...a 41 mile day...I'm exhausted just hearing of that. Cool to have heard the Moose, but good that it passed you by with no issues. Moose can be temperamental...if they get aggressive they can stomp a person to a pulp.
Hope you got that hand cleaned up and some antiseptic on it (and have your tetanus shot). Cuts and bogs (still fresh water) don’t mix. Incredible total. I remember back when some folks were doggin’ you in the comments for doing low miles 😂 Love the poetic interlude at 6:30 😂
I don’t carry much for first aid, but sting ease and Benadryl are a must. I react to bee stings. Busted hand on top of that and still knocked out the miles. So exciting to see Frizzle and Nickles 🎉.
A Stately Pace makes for bodily grace. As your psionics professional I would remind you that the previous aforesaid chemical weaknesses lead to self sabotage. You are hurting yourself to prevent success. My suggestion is to use some olive oil before you burn up. Fear of success and those who will be on you once you achieve it. Still holding the ghost for Frodo and Samwise!
