I was going to do a guide up to level 5 where you sometimes get 500 shards or onyx bolt tips, but the waves take longer and longer. Wave 1 is more profitable than doing higher waves, at least until you get to the final waves were you could potentially get a unique.
ive been doing this like 8 hours now and if I get splinters or Rune kites at wave 2 I do that too. Wave 3 with onyx bolts can be worth but if youre not used to wave management etc wave 3 can be really hard. I usually just do 2 waves max. Made 22.9m in those 8 hours btw. I was doing venator bow with full void and dds melee switch with thralls. This is also after nerf btw
That doesn't make sense, if they were 1k each, with 1min and 20 secs per round, it would be max 4.5m/hr Plus I see in the wiki you get 80 splinters now rather than 100 - so that would be max 3.6m/hr But with todays price, it would be max 2.6m/hr
unfortunately this is due to the combat triangle, ranged will always be strong defensively against magic attacks. Best thing you can do is melee switch and keep praying mage and take down the ranged barbarian as fast as you can until you can get better mage stats. Good luck!
If you are attacking the melee one, the one in the middle then you should catch the freeze 90%+ of the time. If you are attacking one side of the 3, the spell doesn't reach the furthest one.
Keep in mind when u complit 100 waves in total ur death cost more so maybe is better u use this frist to learn the content instead of trying to make money that u lose when u going for higher waves
