Saving cat doesn’t make you join the villains. If you picked hero for most options and then choose this option. For the “good” ending, Spider-Man calls mj saying he knows what he did, he just hopes she can forgive him.
Like I know that venom/symbiotes were taking over but saving black cat always felt like the right choice to begin with Felicia was trying her best to redeem herself in Peter's eyes but while still being her thinking more on it I think the writers of the game liked her more than MJ as well
The electro mission is nothing compared to wolverine's. If you choose the symbiote path after finishing the 2nd wolverine fight, spiderman straight up rips wolverine in half.
He can regenerate, but all the adamantine bones below the break stay gone. Come to think, that's probably worse, since the adamantine bones he keeps would just make him top-heavy.
fun fact, I found out this game actually has four endings. it has the regular good and bad ending. but let’s say(assuming) if you do all the good decisions, but you save black cat you will have the awkward good ending but if you do all the bad decisions and don’t save black cat you will unlocked the ending where you want to find Mary Jane and take over New York City

Spiderman Web of Shadows is the only unorthodox and unique game yet people don't like it. Then people also complain how every Spiderman game is just so repetitive. Aside from it's bad spots, they really were ballsy to try something new.
Dude, WoS is still my the most loved game about Spidey... Even new games are not so appreciated for me unlike this one. I finished it for more than 15 times and maybe it's time for 16'th time.
This would have been one of the greatest spiderman games of all time if it wasn't for the ass-backwards save system that can both softlock the player and lock you out of endings.

I don't understand why save Black Cat's gives you negative karma and let her die not. When i was playing it for the first time i was trying to get the good ending first, but i saved Black Cat, and that almost make me pass through the black suit completely making me get the bad ending, i didn't understand why. If you're able to save the life of a friend you'll do, it's kinda awful that MJ just fly away, even though you're saving a life

Even though I'm a red suit main because the combos are better imo, I would 100% still save Black Cat. Mary Jane is literally for the streets while Black Cat always loved Peter and was open with it

I mean, MJ does a lot of shit to Peter that should drive a normal man insane. LOL Like that time she and Peter got stuck in an alternate dimension, eventually they found a way to go back but only one of them could do it, she encouraged Peter to go as she believes he will comeback for her no matter what, and HE DID, but then time passed by differently in the dimensions and at that point he already have a new guy named Paul, the most self-insert looking character ever. LOL Oh, and with 2 adopted kids. LOL
MJ was being a git from beginning to end of the game... All she would do is complain oh you're not doing enough blah blah blah blah blah... Black Cat accepted you for who you were good or bad.
I hate that you can’t save black cat and be with mj. One of the best runs of spider man is the marvel knights one where black cat and mary Jane need to work together to help Peter recover from the sinister six. It’s really cool and makes Mary Jane not seem so lame. She actually had agency for once
Mary Jane a ruined character because of the comics even the ultimate comic setting up something nasty with her working for a certain company hopefully they won't take that route but it's spiderman comics
