My favorite was the one you mounted on yellow cardstock. I had never thought about using words I die cut on stamping foam, is a great idea.

One technique that’s subtle, but useful, is curving your clear sentiment stamps for surrounding round images. Great video!

I love my foam squares!! I dont want to put them together though to make it larger as it would be simpler I think just to make a larger size.

You make it so hard to choose a favorite. The stamp impression I liked the best was the second stamping of the image you made from Altenew’s ornate cover plate die. Maybe I liked the Brutus Monroe Ornament die card the best? I really liked how the background image turned out without adding water. Sigh. I liked the sunburst card a whole lot too. Too hard to choose. I have had the idea to try both dies and die cuts for imprinting the stamping foam, but haven’t tried it yet. I’m too busy making impressions from various texture tools. I have Fiskar texture plates made for rubbings from before embossing folders existed. I have Cedar Canyon’s rubbing plates too. Plus plates from Ten Seconds Studio meant for embossing metal. And of course all of the embossing folders. I’m having loads of fun, but I was kind of like how many texture tools does one crafter need!?! I like many different crafts and apparently many different crafts require texture making devices. I realized during all of this exploration that I haven’t tried all of these different tools on my gel plates yet either. Nor have I tried my stamping foam with my gel plate. It’s on my list. I’ve been wondering if you have thought about hot glue with your stamping foam. You know how some crafters make hot glue stencils? You could mold off a hot glue stencil and then use both the stencil and the foam on a gel plate. This is also on my list. I should try it tomorrow.

I really loved this video and I apologize if somebody already asked this… Would it be at all possible to make a thin foam block that’s just thick enough to run it through a die cutting machine after you’ve made your impression? I realize that may not be possible because it might crush the foam. But what about making a thin foam block to use in a stamping platform. Just curious. Heading off now to play with my foam blocks 😊

This is the first time I've seen a video using the Stamping Foam. Did something years ago with a foam 'thingy' but never used it so gave it away. Wow, I enjoyed your demo....getting my inspiration to maybe get some now. Thank you for a very informative video. Loved how you used the halo around the 'Christmas' ornament to make it stand out. Made a very nice card in the end. 👍❤

I have been playing with the stamping foam. Love the technique. Thanks so much for your energetic videos. I have a question though. When you are adding the ink by sliding ink pads over the foam, how do you clean the ink pads when the inks are mixed on the ink pads. I so opposite of an artist and I struggle with choosing the right colors. I am definiately going to get that sprayer too.

Mine didn’t really work and the ink stained the foam . Any tips as I really scrubbed it but still stained. Wasn’t impressed with the foam sorry. Maybe I need lots more practice. Tried using a small diecut and you’d need to cut your foam to fit as you can’t ink it easy
