My friend Simon Hurley just sent me a four pack of his new stamping foam! Today, I'm putting it to the test three different ways. Will it work? Will it be a hot mess? I promise there is only one bleeped out segment in this video!

I love my Bearly art glue! I just clean the stainless steel pin between my fingers, pin it to my shirt (then I know where it is) clean off the tip with my fingers. That’s it! Do be careful with the pin, it’s easy to bend the pin. You can straighten the pin to a degree, between your fingers. There are cheap wire straighteners in the jewelry department of Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. I’m on my second bottle, and find it lasts a really long time. I too thought it would be tough on my wrists, and it wouldn’t come out at the end...boy was I wrong!

After I saw Simon using the Foam block I remembered some foam blocks I have had for ever, don't know where I got them and they have just been sitting there all lonely for years. They are quite small but work very well. Glad I had never thrown them away.. Aren't they super fun.

It works great on your embossing folders too - use the raised side - the glue has a pin in the little clear bottle / poke it down in the metal tip and that does the trick

No need to clean the tip. I put the pin in and wipe off the pin-i do it a couple of times. The glue is fabulous along with the cards, beeeeps, and boops!

What's old, is new...again. My stamping foam is about 20 years old...try paper clips, safety pins, buttons, etc. to make impressions. Great videos!! My favorite is the red rubber floral stamp. Thanks for sharing.

I think many people leave the pin in the top. At least that is what we were told with Art Glue. I believe the barely art glue is a very similar glue. Some people on Etsy even sell charms to add to your pin. Or made with a new pin. The pin that comes with it is stainless steel. If you lose it do not use just any other pin. It will rust. If you have beads and jewelry supplies you could Always make your own charm for it. The charm helps you not lose it on your desk while using it. It does dry very fast. So it can clog the super fine tip quickly. Even with in a few minutes. But the pin usually clears it pretty well. Sometimes you will have to pull it out and get the dried glue out from the inside also. Not too often though.

I remember using foam to make stamps when I was a kid! However, the technology (of the stamp foam) has really changed a lot! Love this video and your results! I do like the "hugs" card a lot--the distressed and streaked look is beautiful. Thanks for showing us your technique withe the foam!

I've been using the glue for a couple of years I just stick the pen in after I' finished. If you notice a little buildup over time, I just wipe it with a Kleenex and stick the pen back in. It never clogs.

Tim Holtz gave a tip that you bank the bottle on desk before you cap it, that ensures glue drops back into bottle preventing blockage. Also keep bottle on side whilst using, it keeps the glue at the the top. The last one is my tip, from watching RU-vid crafters.

@@ThankfulNanaDiane It hasn't dripped on me and I store it upside down in one of those little holders and it hasn't clogged and I'm a sporadic crafter. I may go a couple of weeks between projects.

This is my favorite glue. The pin in the tip is all you need to seal it. I pull out the pin and I'm ready to glue. Love the tip.

I think they all look gorgeous. Maybe, on your least favorite, a little spring green Matt behind the white border, makes it even more pop. Love the placement of the sequins on the butterfly card. I have played with mine so much already! I think one of the things I like is the effect you can get that we work hard to achieve in art journaling. This does it effortlessly. I just love the way the hugs one turned out. Looks like it was done on a piece of wood or something. All of them are just really cool. I used embossing folders and made atcs for June. Adhezer. LOL!!!

I've had bad luck with storing with pins, so I got the little rubber cap and haven't had any problems with clogging in the few weeks I've been using it. I do tap the bottle a couple of times on the table to encourage the glue to drop out of the tip, and I might use the needle to remove any coagulated glue, but I haven't needed to yet. I like this better than any other fast-drying glue. It's forgiving of mistakes on regular cardstock and hasn't required any special maintenance.

Really like the bearly art glue. Just started using it last week. I do clean my tip every time. I use the pin then roll a piece of paper towel to a point, stick it in the tip then the pin one more time. It did clog after the first time that I used it. (That's why I use the paper towel now)Just ran it under some water and used the pin to clean out the clog. Really like your cards too. Have to get some stamping foam.

I failed cut and paste in kindergarten LOL and as an adult, I find liquid glue application hard. I am super messy. Maybe with this super little tip, liquid adhesive might become part of my wheelhouse?? Great video lady! ❤️

I don’t have this brand of glue - I use art glitter glue with a similar precision tip and pin. I place the pin in the bottle after each use and wipe the pin when I remove it to use the glue- I imagine the same is true for this glue. Have heard great things about this glue though. Haven’t tried the stamping foam just yet though possibilities are great including reverse /mirror images and using embossing folders to get an impression. I like the pink card base. Favorite card was the first hugs you did.

My crazy thumb issues require me to have to be super picky with what I can purchase to use….especially liquid glue!! BEARLY ART FITS THE BILL PERFECTLY!!! It’s the only bottle I have found that does not hurt my thumbs and allows me to do most things I need/want to!! So a HUGE SHOUT OUT to this glue!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

I LOVE using the foam! It’s so fun and gives unique results. My hubby cut a piece of thin sturdy wood to fit on top because I don’t have an acrylic block that fits. This little bit of firm support really helps. I found that the clear stamps don’t work very well with the foam. Maybe it’s because the design isn’t as pronounced as the rubber stamps, but then again it could be just me🤪. Love your videos! TFS

Over adherer or adhearer? Omg yes you just discovered the nearly art glue??? lol that bleep is SO STINKING funny!!! Thank you for starting my day with a laugh! Simon has a plug for the precision tip. I have used and over-adhered with this for over a year. LOVE IT! I just wipe the outside of the nozzle when done & if I get distracted & it gets a little wonky during a craft session I run the pin in and out. I clean the entire bearly ever. 🤣 also I am wondering if you press that foam into the die, how it would work. I think I must try that! It is really fun to look around the house and find things with texture to use that form with. Also for those who do not like to color… I have pressed it into my stamp and then put color only on the stamp area with a brush. This is probably the most genius item I have seen in ages and ages. Had a lot of fun with you last weekend at the C9 summer camp!

Cathy - Love your cards... your coloring & designs are always great, plus it's so entertaining to watch your videos! I bought the 'Clearsnap Magic Stamp' products (blocks & sheets) in 2015 when I was new to the world of paper craft.... FUN stuff, but then I put it away & forgot about it - how typical! HA It's also fun to make '3d' stamps with the block foam. Thanks for the link for the coffee..... have been looking for a 'new to me' great coffee, & it's always best when it's highly recommended! I've also been wanting to try the 'Bearly Arts' glue - but waiting to use up my adhesive stash, which is extensive!

Type and graphic designer are both my first loves (and my career!) I got into crafting while working as a graphic designer! The best part is that I still get to work as a graphic designer as the art director for Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine, and when I design my own stamps and dies for Simon Says Stamp! I started out in very corporate design departments. Learned so much which helped me to eventually be self employed. : )

Hi Cathy, I really enjoyed watching you make the cards and using different types of products for the background. I have used Bearly art glue for a while now and I love it! I keep the fine tip on all the time so I don’t wash it after every use. (For me that would be annoying if I had to do that 😉) To keep it from drying in the tip and clogging I use the green pin as the “lid” so keep it in the top when not in use. I’ve never had issues with the pin drying in it. Jennifer McGuire bought a rubber stopper lid from Simon Says stamp and she said that prevents hers from clogging. Either way works and I hope that helps. Oh and by the way I’m born and raised in Washington State too. It was cool when you mentioned that on a past video. Take care and sending hugs.

Love the video! Love my foam blocks. I think if you die cut the word hugs in black and foam taped it right over the first card panel it would look totally cool. The stamped flowers look amazing. Great choice of colors! And I swear like a truck driver when I craft. It’s therapeutic! 🤪

I love the cards! My favorite is the one with the background stamp. I've yet to buy the stamping foam or the barely arts glue, but they are on my list when I place my next order. The wet glue that I use, I just stick the stainless steel pin in the top and I've never had an issue with clogging.

You need to get the rubber thingy so you can close the tip. It is made to go around the bottle so you won't loose it! It works great!! It will not clog for a very long time, if ever!!

Also, I keep the pin in the tip until I am finished stamping for the day….then I run it under hot water to be ready for the next time I use it!!! :)

OK...the bleep (cursing) cracked me up. I was watching your video and cursing on my end for you. Sorry...terrible I know. Beautiful cards even with the bleep! Great job. I'm thinking about getting those blocks. I've seen Jennifer use them too. As for the glue...I use Glitter Art glue and it also has a small tip. Do like Jennifer...she bought the rubber stopper for the end. It's in one of her videos and it comes from Simon Says Stamp. Very inexpensive. Under $2. You'll love it. I'm a newbie with the Bearly Art Glue but thus far I'm loving it - I love the ability to put tiny little dots where I want them - I HATE it when I attempt to put a little dot of glue down and a big runny glob comes out even though I didn't squeeze the tube. I put the precision tip on my bottle (the one you put on) and I've left it, I put the pin in the nozzle each time after I've used it. Thus far it's worked first time, every time. I was concerned that going from a small tube to the bigger bottle would be hard to control but this stuff is wonderful. I'm definitely a new fan, not bearly a fan but completely a fan.

I’ve been using the Bearly art glue for at least 6 mos, I just keep the pin in the precision tip after use, I haven’t had to clean it at all. It works great.
