I highly recommend that you watch the live version of Film Out - either the Music Blood or CDTV performance. It is so good. Also that song is in Japanese. Black Swan is my favourite song by BTS.

life goes on is about covid, if you pay attention to the lyrics and the video, it's about what we all went through in 2020, especially "one day the world stopped without a warning", "sidewalks erased of footprints", "this cold the world gave me" at first I didn't vibe with it as much, but then it became such a comforting song for me, like spring day and magic shop, I'm now really grateful for how it helped me the live version for mtv unplugged is my favorite

All the songs are there in live versions just as impressive as the recorder ones, autotune is ever just used to add something creative productionwise. Black Swan is a fanfavorite for sure, Jimin shines with his dancing, he is amazing. Life goes on, was made during the fiirst year of Covid19, it clearly is a comforting song and the video shows them all in staying at home situation, at their dorm. Watching films of themselves in better times, and longing to get back to their passion, performing in the stadium, going outside, meeting fans. Jungkook, filmed parts and directed the MV. If you want to se more of his filming, editing stuff you should check out his GCF video's. Film out, co-wrote/produced by Jungkook too, is a beautiful song in Japanese for the movie Signal. Jungkook also wrote the OST Japanese song Your eyes tell, for a movie. And ofcourse we all just got the treat of Suga and Jungkook with Stay Alive as the OST for their own webtoon. There are speculations about the mv for Film Out being part of the Bangtan Universe story which goes through a bunch of their video's over the years. Because of all the symbolism with the hourglass, the doors, Jin standing outside looking in on them all, the explosion like in Fake love. But nothings confirmed as far as I know. AllthoughI truely love and admire all 7, I'm most amazed by Jungkook with his vocal abilities but also all the other skills he has, writing, producing, filming, editing, dancing. He is just stunning, and so talented, hardworking at such a young age and still a humble and respectful person.

BTS is coming to Las Vegas this April 8, 9, 15 & 16. It's a 4 night concert. I hope you can catch them up live, up close and personal. It's definitely worth the experience.

I literally memorised all" film out " lyrics and I play it and sing along every day 😅 I just love it so much. Also, it would be really amazing if you often did long videos like this for example MV along side with the dance practice and live. Much love 💜

Black Swan is one of my absolute favourite songs. I can listen to it in every mood. Their live performance of Black Swan is really beautiful. Honestly this song deserves a Grammy. Nothing against Butter but Black Swan is a masterpiece! I grinned when I saw your face that you made when Hobi came in. Life Goes On is sad an comforting at the same time. Not being able to perform live, a canceled world tour - Covid hit BTS and Army hard (I´m aware that people experienced worse) and the guys sometimes felt depressed. I believe it must have been uplifting to work on a new album and get involved in every step of the process: writing the lyrics, producing, directing the MV. etc. Film Out is one of their Japanese songs. I believe the MV is part of the BU and I haven´t decoded it for myself yet. I still need some time to connect with their Japanes songs in general. Can´t tell you why. Loved your reaction as always.

Life Goes On is from their album BE. This is their lockdown album. Each member took a role, m/v, album design, project manager, writing etc. Listen from start to finish to get the lockdown story. Film Out is a Japanese OST. I love all of BTS Japanese original songs. You should listen to Crystal Snow and Your Eyes Tell, both live💜

You need to see the live version they did during their LA concerts, or just any live performance (there was one on James Corden and another they filmed remotely for Jimmy Fallon). Live versions of the other two songs are beautiful as well. 'Film Out' is actually in Japanese. And, yes, you're right - BTS don't do bad music. :)

Black Swan was my intro to BTS and will always be a favorite. Life Goes On was a song for ARMY to help get through the pandemic and Jungkook directed it. I love the song and the video too. Film Out co-written by Jungkook and Japanese artist(s); another beautiful song and video too. You picked three great ones.

For me BTS using autotune is a "stylistic choice" they use it to add texture, yoongi even use it very generously sometimes to give a certain effect! I think autotune is very appropriate for Black Swan it made the song "colder" cause it is a dark song talking about their fear of losing their passion for music, saying that losing your passion is like a "first death"

Black swan is such a unique song. I personally have not heard anything quite like this before its release. The fact that mots 7 didn’t get a Grammy nom grrrrr. Suga & hobi rapping in succession is so good, and I’m happy they do it in a good number of their songs. Their Japanese songs hit different. Check out the film out live version when you get a chance. And ‘Your eyes tell’ live with sub too, I was obsessed with that song for weeks.

Excellent review. As far as people complaining about use of auto tune, there are always going to be people who will find reasons not to like a song or whatever. Ignore them. Like you said BTS does not use auto tune to help their vocals but to make an affect they wish to convey a certain feeling, I just ignore such statements. All three of these songs are awesome. Life Goes On is a COVID related song and their memories of precovid life. Please listen to JKs OST Stay Alive, it is hauntingly beautiful. To see the meaning behind the main song of the album, you gotta listen to the first Intro song of the album. Then you get what BTS is trying to say. For example, Singularity sets the theme and mood for the album and it helps to understand Fake Love. So for Black Swan, you can listen RM's Persona then to Suga's Interlude Shadow, then Black Swan Art Film by dance company (that was the first video of Black Swan). On Black Swan video, they say "a dancer dies twice-- once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful" Map of the Soul 7 album is about finding where they stand and themselves. Album 7 was really deep. Life Goes On album was made during Covid times and what they want to say to the fans during the pandemic

I love the scenes in Life Goes On when V looks at the stadium and it just hits you how sad it was for them that their tour got cancelled and then the final scene where they're in the empty venue with lights on the seats and they're all in white, like we're together in spirit, those two scenes tie together so beautifully. JK did such a great job directing that MV.

Congratulations! You deserve every single sub. All three of these are easily modern classics and I think they showcase both vocal line and rap line really well. This was the perfect vibe session. Soulful voices with deep feels. Also, when it comes to the occasional autotune- they use it as an instrument. Whenever they use it, they don't attempt hide it.
