If you have a chance in Vancouver, visit Oakridge Park end of this year or early next year which would be the highest luxury area similar to New York. Not just how people in Vancouver does business but also how the city transforms into a metropolis. It is hard to do business in Vancouver due to land value increases rapid rent and other increases to fixed costs making doing physical businesses no longer profitable. Also empty units in wealthy neighborhoods means overestimate of walk in customers. These are specific city factors.

@@icoco33 I can answer here. I can think of a few businesses that are high chance of success for the next 3-5 years. I have been seeing increasing trends in the following industries (not backed by data): 1. Anything mental health related, that brings healing and calmness. This includes: psychotherapist consultation/courses/products, Fengshui, Xuanxue, etc. 2. High-end study abroad service agency 3. High quality baby care product 4. e-commerce agricultural products, there is large traffic support on short-form content platforms, such as Kuaishou and Douyin I assume my list is very different than yours. I am super interested in learning about your list. :)

@@Cinthia_Lin Man for a young lady w good looks, u seem to have a lot of brain. I'm sure there are a lot of u out there, but I tend to run into the opposite. 1 & 2 fits but not perfect match to my list. 4 is interesting. I have been thinking about how to do health & anti aging as a business over there. The key is to use food supply technology to shorten the timeline from the minute we kill the animal to when we put it into people's mouth, with limited junk in the middle. Veggies are easier. I think i have to go over there to know. Depending on cost, I'm thinking of exploring HK & Guandong areas for 2 weeks, then a few days in SE Asia somewhere. It would be great if u do a video about how a 1st timer can plan such a business & pleasure trip?

The title, how she back by data, and her out-of-box thinking. Those combos might work.

Compared to China, Boba Tea House is very profitable in the US. You can find them at almost all Asian supermarkets, many malls, and shopping plazas. They charge $8+ per cup (including tips) these days in west coast. A small stand can rake in over $30k a month with ONLY 1-2 persons in house. And unlike the ice cream stands, they open year round. 💰💰

Gym Lifetime Membership = good for the lifetime of the business, NOT for your lifetime! Nice work on the video, by the way. In some parts though, it sounds like your mic has too much compression or noise reduction processing...?

What do you think of those eat drink and sleep massage SPAs in China? Have they been profitable?
@Cinthia_Lin
@Cinthia_Lin 14 дней назад
I think they were backed in the 2000s. Now there is more entertainment options and these spa places getting less popular, but costs are getting much higher (crazy rental expense for such large venue, and hiring cost is also rising.)

Hello again, Cinthia. My prior post on this video seems to have disappeared. Maybe you did not see it? I previously commented on your Excel video (10 months ago) and you replied that your contact INFO was in the "About" page, but I think RU-vid removed the "About" info for RU-vidrs. How can I contact you for possible business collaborations?

What about profitable business to open in china then? Can you do a video which 3 business are mostly like to succeed in china?
@Cinthia_Lin
@Cinthia_Lin 13 дней назад
You got me thinking. Nothing pops up in my head at this point. But I can for sure share some background info 1. Before 2000s, any businesses have over 90% of success rate given the economy was booming and the market was empty 2. Doing business in China is highly dependent on government's policy and regulation 3. Highly cyclical and competitive 4. In recent years, we have "Rural Influencer Program" in China, helping farmers, rural content creators to promote sales of agricultural products and tourism. Lots of traffic support on short-form video platforms. That could be an opportunity for someone with a rural background for the next three years

镇好看也有趣但是 you need better branding. You are pretty, intelligent, but there is no trailer intro or outro and even though your name is also pretty there are many other Lin's. You need to select a channel name that reflects your niche, which i presume is business analysis. You also need to have your brand in your video so if someone downloads it or reuploads it at least you get your name exposed. You should check out that other Lin chick who is famous and look at her vidoes which are in Chinese to see good branding. You're super pretty so you will still get lots of views but your business will be more effective if you name it something (choose wisely!)

Thank you so much for your honest advice!💗 You are totally right. In fact I have been struggling with personal branding on this channel, business analysis could be one of the niche. Meanwhile I would also doubt if I have any unfair advantage in this field given not enough experience and being an ESL speaker. So I am just uncertain at this point, but sharing interesting businesses and money making ideas that may inspire my audience is definitely something I want to try, at least for the next 30 videos
