Hey Nick, Thanks for another great video, and you are right I would rather learn what I need and why so I understand than be able to go out and have fun learning what shots and styles are best for me. Hey, maybe the next vid can be showing us what you consider to be the money shots. I think and I include myself in this fact is Learning how to become creative.... that is easier said than done. Ok what do I have, I have last years GoPro, but they are still not great in low light/I also have the iPhone 11 max and I have a Canon EOS Ti5, it's a really great camera but so much has improved in the 3 years I've had it I need to upgrade it or just get its new model. again thank you for all the time you are taking to help our industry become a better and stronger one. Ralph
Great Video man. I use a G7 as well and a GoPro 7. Been considering getting a 360 camera also. Bro the confetti drop was awesome!!!! When you said "Shit" during it, looking all concerned, I died. Keep up the good work!!!
I upgraded to an iPhone 11 primarily for capturing good pics and videos. I’m awaiting a tripod to come in tomorrow to use for Saturday’s Quince basically set it and forget it. I’ll be brining my old iPhone se to see if I can get additional content with that from different angles.
Sony zv-1 is the best point and shoot on the market right now for point and shoots with the canon gx7 mkii and mkiii in a close second. If you’re a baller the Sony A7siii is the absolute best camera for djs. It basically sees in the dark with zero noise but you really have to learn how to use it. I agree with you on it needing to be simple. Point and shoot is where it’s at for most people. The 360 camera is really dope. Great video bro!
Awesome video, Nick. Thanks! Another suggestion I have for DJs who aren't ready to shell out hundreds on new cameras. Invest in a cell phone tripod! For $25, you can get a sturdy, compact, light-weight tripod for your phone, so you can stop using your arm. I have a stand-alone one that sits up to 4.5 feet high, and also a smaller one with flexible grip legs that allows you to mount your phone just about anywhere. Mine are from a brand called UBeesize and I got them from Amazon. Thank you so much for the camera suggestions. Adding to my wish list for when I start making money again lol
Dude, you are freakin hilarious and I'm glad you brought this up. I would never hire a DJ who didn't have a ton of content available for me to check out, so what makes us think our couples feel any differently?! I still land gigs from a video I made back in 2014, ah!
I’m saving up for a dji pocket 2. Wide angle for my compact spaces and good in low light. Do NOT confuse it with the the GoPro. GoPro is not good for low light.
Please give me an opinion on how I can reduce the vibrations from the bass on the camera, everything I've tried is not satisfactory for me. Modern cameras with autofocus and stabilization are disoriented by vibrations from the bass and often cannot use video from the most energetic moments because of this.
Just came up on your channel recently bro. Great content!👍🏾 How tall is the tripod you use to set up your 360 camera? Regular height or should I be looking for something taller?
Love the 360 camera! And that confetti shot was amazing! Nick can I ask what track you were playing during that confetti shot? Or was it something you’d put together yourself?
