Haha people suck. At least you didn’t get kicked out of your local game store because a husband was jealous I was going in and talking pokemon with his wife that works there. (He also worked there, and got so jealous that he told the owners I needed to be banned because of something I didn’t do) I have actually been like flabbergasted about the situation haha. Insecurity is tough y’all. Don’t be that dude please haha I just loved talking and buying pokemon!!

Oh also, I used to spend THOUSANDS at this shop. So their loss I guess :) the husband also priced my cards and shorted me money once, and he also did it to some rich guy selling some of his collection and he shorted him $700 and laughed about it. People are wild!!

As someone who’s been collecting since I was 16, I would never let some loser open up my packs for me. That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. For one, you are getting overcharged. Two, these idiots are buying up everything , so you can’t get it except this way.

I wonder if these g ballers go into it with the intent of having their packs paid for until the big hit comes for themselves so they don’t have to waste their own money ripping packs. Like the whole time he’s been opening for customers, he’s nervously waiting for the big hit to come knowing he will shut it down and keep. Or if it was impulsive decision when he saw it not thinking about it beforehand? I just wanna know about what really goes through these scammers’ minds.

In regards to the magic bans, someone really should investigate those stores that took down buylists for these cards 2-3 weeks before the announcements. I'm typically not a conspiracy theory person but this is awful suspicious and really does lend to leaks..

My sister plays MTG Commander, and she got effed by this BS. I don't play, so I don't know the details, but she had several of the banned cards. She doesn't have any of the super rare versions, but a bunch of 100$ cards are now 30-40$ cards.

To be honest, the ban of the cards from commander was not a big surprise. It was already a discussion when the card got the reprint, and I doesn't even involved in this format or magic too much, but i knew it was a running topic these cards are OP for the format and probably will be banned shortly. In MTG there are more manipulation and scalping as in Pokemon, because they try to get more money with these limited type of products which get scalped all the time, there are a lot of discussion about this and the prices of the products for a long time now.

No one collects entire sets of serialized cards, it's impossible lol. If a cards 1/15 there's only 15 of them. & Chances are there are at least 15 other people that want that card. It would be nice if Pokémon had a high end collectors box or version of the cards. This idea of Moonbreon which has like 100k + copies being worth $1k doesn't make sense, lol.

I disagree with the serialized cards making it harder to complete sets. The serialized cards are printed in addition to the same card unserialized being printed. Only extremely rich people would be trying to do any sets that contain only serialized cards. It just adds another version of the card that can be even more valuable. Doesn’t make that specific card harder to get. And normally the unserialized cards still have value.

AI art wasn't banned, and it wasn't stipulated in the rules. Just because you don't like something, or don't agree with it, doesn't mean it's wrong. All digital art programs use AI to assist at this point anyway, so where are you drawing the line. The Vaporeon is in a vaguely similar pose, it's not a rip off, a quadruped animal can only have so many poses. It's also "art" of a copyright protected content owned by the Pokémon Company, so in theory you're stealing Everytime you make art of Pokemon anyway, and you don't own the character in the first place. Wizards of the Coasts, or any trading card company that doesn't involve themselves in the secondary market has no obligation to people putting values on cards in secondary market trying to "invest". Card board can be mass produced and reprinted at anytime or put in as a promo insert, so banning a card is essentially the same thing. If you want to invest in something, pick real estate or some other regulated market. Pokemon could put Moonbreon in Premium Collection tomorrow if they wanted.

Great video, but the bans in Magic are for Commander, and one of the big rules in Commander is that you can only have 1 copy of a card per deck, so no one has multiple of these cards in a deck

Commander is in MTG Arena! It's just called Brawl instead of commander. Mainly only difference is you start with 25 life instead of 40. It's for slightly quicker games, but every thing else is the same!! 21:48

supposedly the pos who was going to steal the 1/1 soccer card gave it to the rightful owner. Just happened yesterday. Whatnot has a policy for high priced cards (this card is worth $50,000+ he is the next Messi and is only 17) where they will give the rightful owner a payout based on how much the card is worth and. then they go after the breaker for that cash. I'm assuming this dude realized he will be out money and a source of money if he kept the card so he did the "right thing".
