2:03 2:41 these can make the day of any chessscape subscriber. The range of your puzzles is excellent. Even as a 2200, the second puzzle was damn tough, had to think for a minute
The first and the fourth puzzles are surprisingly easy cuz I saw the mating nets. For the second puzzle I already had a feeling to checkmate the black king with only the bishop pair. But even with that in mind finding Qg4+ is still genuinely difficult to spot as it is seemingly a counter-intuitive move to deflect the bishop off from the e6 square not only to open the diagonal for the light square bishop, but to also block the escape route for the black king to the g4 square. I really appreciate your effort to make these type of content and hope to see more in the upcoming videos :)
3:45 I'm 1800 in rapid and I do many puzzles. When you said this is the hardest puzzle, I looked at the possible sacrifices and spotted the mate in like 20 seconds. It's that I've seen many times the pattern of the bishops checkmate, that's why puzzles are important :)
On all of them I got the feeling of checkmate and I reviewed it in my mind and got a checkmate once I remembered the tactics and strategies magnus Carlson and mikail tal used in their games
Damn the 2nd one was hard because there were so many sacs and im 800 only and i look for sacs and i saw the queen sac but i didnt look through the line especially the rook sac
Second puzzle is pretty insane. I didn't find the move and would 100% have gone Pawn c3, blocking mate, threatening Bb1+ and hoping Black takes the bishop on b3 so I can win with Qg4#. If Black finds Bg5, I'm thinking Rxe6, Bxd2+, Kxd2 and maybe Black has a perpetual or something. Not sure what Black does if Qxd2 instead of King, though. Force a queen trade and try to win with the connected passers, probably. So that might be risky.
Actually your 2nd puzzle by mistake I saw the solution but the 1st and 3rd one I do it myself in 5-10 sec And for the fourth one you have not given any time for solving 😓
Why this channel got only 208 thousand subscribers? It must have not less than 20,8 MILLION subs! P.S. Chessscape is the best youtuber, he's bad only for chess haters :) no, he's the best for everybody
