My brother is the trustee for my father’s trust and he is refusing to give me my share. I’m in the trust and supposed to get something. I’m having trouble finding an attorney. Is there something I can do to file suit myself to get the ball rolling until I find an attorney willing to take the case?
There is... but it's going to take you forever to figure it out. Instead of spending time on doing it yourself, spend that time on finding an attorney. You want probate/trust litigation.
Try to convince your brother if you fight in court it's going to cost half your inheritance in Billable Litigation Hours so he might as well give you your share.
