A colourful Autumn hike in the Lesser Caucasus, in one of Georgia's largest national parks. Panoramic views and cosy campfires, what more could you ask for? Hope you enjoy seeing a different side of the Caucasus Mountains. A full guide to this hike is over on the blog - www.goingthewholehogg.com/borjomi-kharagauli-np-panorama-trail/ - with a more general guide to hiking in Borjomi-Kharagauli NP coming very soon. Cheers! Kim & Del
This is very emotional for me! I've been working in this National Park since 2010 for 11 years and just left job 3 days ago to study and travel. We've met at visitor center as well, I didn't know you were going to create such an awesome product. Every sign is painted by me there and this video has lots of great guiding details! I'm happy to find you there! This will help visitors and employees there too for future! One more subscriber ! ❤
Wow, it must have been hard to leave a job you've been in for so long, but sounds like you have exciting plans for the future! We had a great time on the trail and it was interesting for us to hike in Borjomi after hiking so much in the Greater Caucasus region. Thank you for your kind words and appreciation of our work, and good luck with your upcoming studies and travels!
Some nice "follow me" drone footage in this one. We love the format of your vids with the walking then the talking, all the action then all the info is definitely the way to make this type of content. Great work as always and thanks for your hard work/walk. Kind regards Simon & Alison👍👍👍
Cheers Simon and Alison! Very glad to hear this format is working for you, as we enjoy filming and sharing it in this way. It's the kind of format we ourselves enjoy watching for this kind of thing. Thanks for watching and appreciating! Kim
Another great video! Just back from 3 week Scotland trip and my 6th WHW completed with lots of pics video and drone footage to edit. Your videography and editing skills are just brilliant and leave me in awe as I edit my trip! Thanks for all the effort you put into producing and blogging these trips. It's amazing. And Georgia is stunning!
Ah that's great to hear you've been out on the trails yourself, good luck with the editing! It usually takes longer than the hike itself 😅 Thanks for watching and appreciating our work. Cheers! Kim
See this amazing work and think for myself, how do you walking and make video at same time, because this is a very difficult job ! One thing is to look from the couch and another - to create these fantastic stills for the movie ! Guys - You are a really crazy ! Thanks a lot for sharing another masterpiece ! ❤🥰👍
Ha, thanks Koka! Yes, it is a lot of work, especially for Del who does all the setting up of the shots and running back to get the tripod! He must do quite a few extra kilometres compared to me 😅 Thanks for watching and appreciating all the hard work! Kim
As far as I'm aware there is a destroyed bridge on the final day of the route, so the visitor centre generally won't allow hikers to use this route, but you could return via the Nikoloz Romanov trail instead. Check out this guide if you haven't seen it already for more info on the trails and a map of the various routes - www.goingthewholehogg.com/borjomi-kharagauli-national-park-guide/ Hope this helps! Cheers, Kim
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
@@GoingTheWholeHogg The black trail thats all i can remember 😅 I think it was number 6, you go through the forest up and down, the way up was interesting as you go on a relatively narrow trail stepping on tree roots as if going up a staircase! At the top of the trail is the only view point the you descend again through the forest.
@@MrAlexspearo Oh cool, yeah I think that's the Likani Valley Trail. We need to go back to hike some more of them! Hope the view at the top was worth the effort ; )
Outstanding stuff as per guys, some stunning footage and even the sky looks incredible, I've always been one of those people that looks UP as well as around when I'm out and about and do the same if or when possible with you're uploads. Was down at Norfolk all last week and stuck in some really nice walks and it was great clocking up the miles, some really nice places down there with beautiful properties, my daughters dog Kylo had a fantastic time chasing the sea waves on a daily basis, massive culture shock having to return back to Ayrshire. Massive Thanks again on all you're time and dedication on these uploads, Thanks!
Ah, glad you had a good holiday and so did Kylo! Never been down that way, bet there's some lovely coastline. You're right, we did have some great skies on this hike. Gorgeous colours, and the stars at night were fantastic. It's funny how the sky can look so different across the world. I remember coming back to Scotland after 2 years living in Korea and I couldn't stop admiring the shade of blue sky at my local beach in Fife. Completely different to that of the coastal town we lived in on the south coast of Korea. Anyway, cheers again for watching and enjoying! Kim
