Thanks for the wonderful video. My first canoe trip was 51 years ago in Algonquin. Went in at Kiosk and worked all the lakes along the east side for 6 days. Probably went through 6-8 lakes The train still ran back then through the park. My uncle took me, and years later I took both my boys. It gets in your blood forever. I hope to take my 12 year old grandson in a few years. Thanks again!
Perfect Friday night viewing to get your mind back into the Paddling season. Looks like its going to be a great series, thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Thanks Shannon!! Haha he will be in many to come, we have a great relationship he's lots of fun out there! Come up north we'll do a trip together or something this year!
So glad to see your beautiful smile! I needed this summer trip right now as it was super cold kinda snowie day where I am! My kitten Chomper I think she loves grizz bc she was just staring at him and when the video was over she looked at me and meow looked back at the screen at him and meow and kept reaching out for him !! Needless to say we watch this video then Grizzy sled working one 100 times this even! Now i bet she dream of him bc her little eyes are twitching in her sleep so cute! Can not wait for part2 with love Carla & Chomper ❤🐾🐾

Gosh I really need to say this again but I’m so grateful for your videos and channel, love your content and your personality, Grizz!!! this all keeps me going in these tough days between university and global situation, thank you so much for taking us on your experiences and trips, chilling and going on adventures even tho some of us rn can’t You’re truly inspiring, so glad I found your channel Much love and big hugs from Italy!! (love to see you happy and enjoying life)
Wait what? New boyfriend? Oh man I'm way behind on videos, this explains why I couldn't find some of the older ones, they got taken down and then I saw this our first trip together so I was all confused as I was like that's not the guy in the videos from before. Good for her, as long as she is happy that's what matters, oh and the content keeps rolling out, that's important too!
THANK YOU for making this awesome video :) love seeing how happy you are! Your videos inspire me to become more of an outdoorsy woman and go on a solo trip... looking forward to part 2!!!
Wow!!, what beautiful scenery that is this time of year! Its nice to see everything is in bloom and coming back. What an amazing time of year. The melting of the snow made that crazy kool waterfall. Looked like it was flowing halfway up in the trees. Temps looked great, you guys looked dressed super comfortable. And no snow, the cold lends a reprieve from the bugs. Old man winter was the original bug tamer. The Grizzster says I aint gotta do nuttin but look kool. Such a great disposition for a young dog. Thank God winter is about gone. Between the cold and the Democrats, Im about to lose my freaking mind. Great vid!! I needed that more than you guys:D CHEERS!, from SC
That reminds me of canoe trips I used to take in the '70s. The big difference is we were portaging wooden canoes. Not the nice light ones of today, but the big ole' heavy ones made in the fifties. It didn't take long before you felt like you were carrying a log cabin on your shoulders. Enjoy.
THANKS FOR THIS, I Iove seeing non-winter videos right now! Summer thoughts are giving me life as winter comes to a slow close here. I've been editing paddling videos from last summer recently because I'm SO DONE WITH WINTER!! Amazing footage and that looked like a fantastic trip. Love how awesome a canoe dog Griz is! And your new paddling buddy isn't bad either! 😂👌
Thanks for sharing more amazing outdoor moments and adventures captured in video. I can hardly wait to get out there this year! Hoping for an early ice-out. Watching your channel helps fill the gap. Looking forward to Part 2. :)
What a guy, :) Great trip, I loved every moment. Even Grizz when that stick got the better of him. Beautiful country. Whooopee, can't wait for part 2, Sending love from North Carolina, USA
.. So good to see this ,, really feeling the lack of outdoor mountain time ... Looks like an awesome place there ,, shared with good company and looked like good weather as well ... can't wait to get out and complete a couple trips planned that got crushed last year ... looking forward to next parts to come ,, keep the passions shining and that beautiful smile ... And Oh Yeah ,, give Grizz a treat and a scratch behind the ears ,, I'm sure he will be showing his awesome personality as the outings become allowed again ... ..... Stay Safe and God Bless .....
I just can't get over the beautiful area that you live in! It's nice where I live but it sure doesn't compare to your area! I'm glad you have someone to share it with(besides Grizz lol!) You definitely got that glow in your beautiful smile back! Keep on livin' the good life, stay safe! Can't wait for part 2.Hugs to you and Grizz!
Looked forward to this all week and it delivered! Needed this fix to tide me over until the season starts. Lovin the dynamic between you two also- great tripping partners! Can’t wait for part two :D
The Grizz has turned into the Dude. He is quite a big boy now. But still the Grizz. Loved the beginning of this adventure and looking forward to the next video. Thank you for sharing as always. Peace and Love from Angry Old HIppie Hermit at Old HIppieland.
Ah beautiful Algonquin. I got to do my first portage trip there last summer. It's so nice to see water again. Our lakes and rivers are still frozen in central Alberta. I can't wait to get my kayak back in the water! Looks like you had lots of fun, Algonquin is so special ❤️
im gonna say it being as noone else has, its great to see you smiling/HAPPY again!!! hope the best for you;-) it looked like you had great weather & beautiful camp site there!! hopefully part 2 went just as well..thanks for sharing with us...
Looks like a beautiful trip...good thing RU-vid is legit where you share real life enjoyment of the a wilderness camp out. My teenage daughters have enjoyed it but after watching the movie Backcountry they had an altered perspective of a fall retreat.
I just booked my trip to Algonquin for August. Cedar to Catfish to Whiskey Jack back via the Nipp. Always enjoy you videos and always good to get a sneak peek of my next route. Keep smiling.
Corina, Corina, Good to see you. It is so good to see you happy and smiling a bunch. You and what's his name :O) seem to have a good relationship. That is awesome for both of you. Hoping it turns out great for both of you. You deserve a good guy!! Griz likes him also that is a big thumbs up for WHN! "O) I love that dog. I guess he's as close to perfect as they can get. I was so impressed with the way he stood by your' side and waited for you, to move on. That shows how much he loves you also. Be happy lovely lady. Can't wait for #2. Toolman John, Florida.
I like the looks of that tent. Good price too. What about length? I can't tell how tall each of you is. I'm 6'3' and some ul's are too short for me. Did you have any condensation issues?
yeah You'd probably be touching head to toe in this tent then unfortunately. The good thin about it is the fly is completely separate from the tent so touching the inside of the actual tent doesn't soak through if it's raining out. And because of that also any condensation drips off and outside of the tent, leaving everything inside dry.
Watching this makes me want to get out and camp. I've not been in a while. Do you bring any water purification with you on these overnight trips to refill your Nalgene bottle or do you boil, let it cool, then put it in your bottle?
