3 Days CAMPING in Remote New Zealand Wilderness 

Hey everyone Thanks for all the support this year and coming along on our camps. Its been a great year camping and we have learnt heaps. 2024 is going to be an epic year full of camping and we are really looking forward to it. Have a great holidays everyone!!

Another great camp and trek. Thank you for sharing. I'm blown away by the scenery that is nothing short of spectacular in New Zealand. While I think I prefer your cooler temperature camps with a campfire and heavy rain and snow, the warmer weather camps can be just as interesting. At the end of the day, it's camping in beautiful locations and all is right with the world. Good to see Anton joining you and Victoria again along with his dry humour. In case I don't get the chance before Christmas Abel, sending Xmas cheer and wishes from my home to your home. Have a happy and safe festive season. Looking forward to your adventures in 2024.

Your previous tramp to the 1000 acres plateau was my favorite. This trip has exceeded all expectations. Anton is the master chef. Absolutely stunning scenery. Great work. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you Victoria and Anton.

OH WOW! That camp-site was BEAUTIFUL, I can't even find the word's to describe how Amazing the scenery was. The walk in looked Very tough going but it was Soo worth it, those tranquillity pools on top of the mountain 🤯 mind blown. How is it that your content just gets Better and Better? You two are just AMAZING!

Hi guys I simply just love urs camping adventures ..I always get myself a snack cup of tea or coffee to join urll into trip..I've been battling most tym with my failing eyesight and leg pain issues so i just spent most tym within the confines of my home or room..😢😢But I light up as soon as I see urs notification on another post ..❤❤❤❤thanks for virtually making me feel I'm accompanying u guys my favorite newly weds tooo❤❤❤...I'm always curious wats urs day job and be esp amazed with Victoria on energy to tackle all those elevated high altitude hikes ...and to be fit for them voyages😮😂❤❤❤❤

Brothers, how different can you be. It is similar to my brother and me in our personalities. I look forward to more of these fun videos. The gear is outrageous. Nice one, guys! I know it's much more effort to film these walks but I find them much more enjoyable than the camping vids (I watch them all, though!). Hopefully you guys can get out for some more missions like the big Nelson Lakes trip you did last summer. Happy walking!

What a mint trek and what an amazing pay off to sit on those pools and just be transported back in time essentially. Big ups to you both, thoroughly enjoyed. Shoutout to Victoria for conquering that ruthless accent / decent.

Lake Matiri. I hate that climb to the 1000 Acre plateau. Thanks Victoria and Abel; I always enjoy your adventures. We use a Z Pack triplex for two, and the condensation drains through the mesh if prop the guy lines up with a stick. Any knife will open a can as long as you can fit the point in. I've used an ice-axe successfully.

Love your videos. Also love your accent!! Here in The UK free camping is not really allowed and certainly no open fires. Very jealous of your menu, things I am no longer allowed to eat! O.A.P.s over here are not well looked after, (in my opinion). I'm much too old for camping now, but spent many wonderfull family holidays since I was a young boy enjoying the outdoor life! Keep the videos coming. My hobby now and (for the last 50 years) has been amateur radio, but still unable to contact N.Z. Tell your Hams to waken up!!! Lynton G4XCQ (my callsign)

just letting you know probably a bit late but the reason that water was a tingy brown was because of tannin its a chemical that leaks out of decomposing plants I'm pretty sure and is perfectly safe to drink aslong as you boil it

Happy to see you out tramping again. Rain camps are rather less interesting for me but understand that's obviously just me. You guys made some amazing tramping videos and always enjoy those. Tramping myself lots with my wife in NZ not too far away from you guys. Thanks I loved that one.

In case anyone thinks its a good idea, STRICTLY NO PETS OR DOMESTIC ANIMALS allowed in NZ national parks (to protect native wildlife). Great adventure you've shared, thanks. I did it 25 odd years ago. Half meter of snow, knee deep mud bog across the plateau. One of the most energy sapping treks I've done, took me hours to Larrikin Ck. Stayed a nite in the old (aptly named) Poor Petes Hut. Slept on the floor, missing boards, holes in the roof let snow thru... Don't know what I was thinking really...
