Sam and victor are one of THE BEST content creators I have seen. They have given us a lot of beautiful content, I sometimes put on the vlogs in the background for the music though 😇😇
agree! Been watching them for awhile and have taken a lot of travel trips during our own travel. They are also one of the people that I look up to in terms of content creation and hope that someday we can translate it into our own videos.
This channel is a hidden gem. The directing style is deceptively simple. There's craftsmanship and a lot of effort behind the camera to get this end result over and over again and the taste of background music is impeccable. Respect and greetings from Cairo, Egypt. Kudos!
This is your absolute BEST HK vlog - mix of gorgeous high-end places, the Peak hike, Halfway Coffee and CCTs. You’ve got me heading there in April! please cover more high-end restaurants and bars if you can 🙏🏻❤everything looked so good!
I moved from the US to Hog Kong in 1992. Spent most of my life in New Territory because that’s where I taught university and where I live. I only go to the malls in Kowloon and Hong Kong Island to shop or to dine. This Vlog makes me want to go see the parts of Hong Kong that I seldom visit.
My favorite thing about Hong Kong would have to be riding these three: the red taxi, ding ding tram and star ferry! 🇭🇰 visiting in March after 7 long years and your vlogs have given me plenty of ideas on where to go this time around ☺️ @mianavigator 📷
It's so obvious the amount of time, effort and thought you put into your very aesthetic (& informative) vlogs. Appreciate it. You guys are the reason I decided to visit Hong Kong in November 23'. Seeing this just makes me wan to return!!
My favorite thing about Hong Kong is the unparalleled cultural experience it offers. From dining in cha chaan tengs, to exploring the vibrant traditional street markets, every corner of Hong Kong is filled with cultural gems. Riding the iconic Star ferry across Victoria Harbour and hopping on the trams provide unique perspectives of the city's bustling energy. Exploring the vibrant neighborhoods of Central and Sheung Wan, where colonial architecture seamlessly blends with modern skyscrapers, immerses you in the dynamic cultural tapestry of Hong Kong. This harmonious blend of old and new, traditional and contemporary, makes Hong Kong truly special. - @limiiin
One of the favorite thing I want to visit again in Hong Kong is to visit Bakehouse! Bakehouse definitely has a place in my heart! From the moment we touch down to Hong Kong, we always crave for that Sourdough Egg Tarts and it was the best feeling and eperience we could ever imagine! Despite the long lines to lined up, it was indeed an experience we would love to do again! The rides of the MTR was indeed our favorite part whenever we travel to Hong Kong, the sound the of traffic lights and trains are very nostalgic and indeed remarkable as you cannot hear that from other countries, it is only made for Hong Kong itself. Another favorite thing I love about Hong Kong is the museums, it was such a great sighseeing place to witness, I just love visiting museums especially in the afternoon. Elephant Ground is also one of my favorite coffee shops in Hong Kong and their cafe latte and americano was really amazing and indulging. Really missed those days when I solo travelled H.K by myself and had my very first suckling roast duck and soy chicken rice as my dinner over the small bustling side of Jordan Night Market! Hong Kong has definitely been a place I will revisit again! @thepopuptraveler
Thank you Sam and Victor you bring peace to our crazy world and your video show us how life could be simple and beautiful looking forward hopefully to enjoy a coffee in Hongkong with you guys Again Thank you
Dear Sam and Victor, thank you so much for this vlog. I'm flying to Hong Kong in a few days and we will 100% follow in your footsteps. Also a big thank you for not only recommending coffee places and restaurants but also naming all the dishes you had.
Im coming back to Hong Kong a few weeks from now to show my kids that amazing city, taste great food and hopefully bump into Sam and Victor as we are a huge fan of your channel 😊
So hard to pick a favourite thing! Have been 3 times as my wife's from HK ( can j say my wife is my favourite thing about Hong Kong? 😅 ) Love the streets for photography, love the food, love checking out all the coffee spots you guys recommend, also love that after 3 trips to HK I can still find somewhere I haven't been! Hope to bump into you on the next trip! @kiwi_photographer_guy
Hey Sam and Victor, thanks to your beautiful vlogs I would like to add Hong Kong to my itinerary 😊, but I have no idea what kind of daily budget I should calculate for this city. Is this perhaps an idea for a future vlog? What can you do with a small, medium and large travel budget in Hong Kong? Happy year of the dragon! Greetings from Belgium
Another great panoramic vlog of Hong Kong, Victor's sister and boyfriend had the two best ambassadors for Hong Kong anywhere. Victor and Sam, two really incredible, talented young people, makes my day every vlog you make, much respect!
Sam and Victor, I started watching your videos when you were doing bag reviews. I love the turn of the direction you guys took in terms of your content choices! As a Korean, I LOVE Hong Kong (I think most Koreans who are older than 30 yrs old have this nostalgia for Hong Kong because of the popularity of Hong Kong movies from the late 80s and early 90s), but it's so difficult to find good vlogs that convey the sense of atmosphere that I crave. You guys are so good at capturing and portraying the senses that I felt whenever I visited Hong Kong and while it has become tough for me to visit the city now that I moved to Denmark and have a small baby, I still miss them. Thank you for all your hard work in producing such wonderful content! I can only imagine how challenging it can be to constantly produce good quality content, so I wanted to drop a few words of appreciation here.
It’s the old buildings and culture + the neon sign boards that lights up the streets buzzing with locals + the language itself! Hello from Singapore❤ I have grown to love and visit HK so often over the past decade and every trip brings me new things to discover! ❤ happy new year guys! @frannnnnnn 😊
Sadly most of the neon sign boards have been torn down due to govt regulations and a change in market preference. As a Hongkonger, it always saddens me whenever I see photos of old HK streets lit up by neons
I really LOVE the mix between the Orient and the West, how easy it is to get around on feet and public transport. And the skyscrapers. And the atmosphere in general. ❤ @wingrenen
Hi sam and victor! Love your vlogs and followed you right away in your IGs! 🤗 Planning to go to HK soon with family. Would like to know where to get the best egg tart in HK? 🤩
If you like the cookie crust, I really like Lucky Star (we have prints in there too haha). You should try their wonton noodles too - usually I request for a fresh batch of egg tarts so it’s super hot
Another great and peaceful vlog. Beautiful. Thumbs up! It brought back my time in Hong Kong while there during Chinese New Year, the Year of The Rooster (2017). I remember it was cold and foggy, and especially flying over from Singapore and having been in the region in general for nearly six weeks. But, I was determined to see the New Year's fire works in Hong Kong. I was staying at the Four Seasons and an employee came around and ushered guests up to the roof for an unobstructed view even through the thick fog. After a few days in Hong Kong, I flew back to Singapore and the warmth and then some days later flew home. Greetings from Los Angeles
Would love to be in HK one day, you guys are the best HK promoters 😂 btw any good vegetarian/muslim friendly restaurants that are good to try? Please recs if got any ❤
I love watching your vlogs especially these ones which are inspiring my next 4 night stay at hk! Watching these videos is so relaxing and yet I feel like I'm doing research on my next trip at the same time! Please keep doing the travel vlogs around Asia- especially Japan love those too x
Hi Sam and Victor! I always look forward to your vlogs every weekend. Even though I was born and raised in HK, you inspire me to look at HK in a different perspective. I will be moving back to Toronto next month, so I would love to have the chance to win a neon light for my new apartment❤️ What I love and will miss HK the most is the diversity of foods and activities to do - shopping, hiking, going to the beach, everything is so convenient! I will miss the glamour, the social and night scene here - going to late night karaoke, bars and siu yea with friends 😂 and of course I will never get tired of the Victoria Harbour skyline.
just chanced across your channel while planning my HK intinerary and I love your videos! directing style makes it so enjoyable to watch and thanks for listing all the places down. *subcribed* ^_^
HK has been one of my bucket list since forever! (saving up so I could go ~) I fell in love w HK since watching all your vlogs and how beautiful it is to have both modern and nostalgic vibes , esp the neon lights vlog and the vinyl shops hopping made my old soul screamed AHHHH I HAVE TO GOOOO
I recently got the news that I have been selected to do an exchange in HK from next august until January 2025 and your videos are precious to me, I already have a huge list of places I have to visit thank to you!! Plus your way of filming is simply amazing :) I'm Italian but I study in The Netherlands
Always the best quality and perfect framing 😊 The best thing about Hong Kong is how everything is so chaotic - traffic, people, and everything else all happens at once! However people just goes alone with it and does not bother them at all. Love the efficiency and how things gets sorted so quickly 😂
Hello from Los Angeles. I don’t know why I didn’t check out any of Hong Kong style breakfast joints here in San Gabriel. Your vlogs made me realize that I could still taste a tiny bit of Hong Kong here. Tomorrow is Saturday, I will hit a place very early in the morning for congee, HK milk tea and pineapple bun! With or without a makeup, I will decide when I wake up. I truly enjoy your vlogs. I want to visit your great city.
Hi, Sam! May I know how to hike the peak and where's that "rock spot". 😅 We'll be visiting the City next week and we'll be staying for 3 days as well. Thank you in advance! Btw, your vlogs are so helpful. 🥹❤️
I can’t really choose what my favourite thing is in Hong Kong! I think just spending time with my Family? I grew up in the Netherlands but my parents are both from Hong Kong. My father from Hong Kong Island and my mom from the Yuen Long area. I really love how they showed me their favourite places and forced me to eat as many won tons as I can haha. I walked a lot with them and visit my cousins who still live there. I will visit it this time with my dad, because my mom passed away 1.5 years ago. So I really love that you guys shows us what kind of places are there now. I can’t wait to be the tour guide this time🥰 @lokyinlau
I love seeing all the eclectic and traditional food, drinks (coffee or other…haha), restaurants, cafes, bars, etc. Hong Kong has! Amazing! Thank you both for capturing your lives there (and everywhere else) to share. @she2
The content is cinematic 💕💕Love the background music that adds depth to the visuals. Love the various locations and recommendations to the viewers🎶🎶🎶🎉🌻🎋🐉Happy New Yr😊
Thanks for the giveaway! The thing I love most about HK is that’s it’s one of the most cosmopolitan city in Asia and its close proximity to the great outdoors. It’s like one minute you are in Central with all the skyscrapers, and within 30 mins you can get on Dragon’s Back and hike on one of the most scenic trails with magnificent views of Shek O.
Hi guys. Just wached your flog 3 days in hk. That is the first vlog i have seen from you guys. I would like to give you big compliments, not only for the content on hk but the way you film ,eddit is so high level. Loved it and yes subscived now to see more beauties. Thanks for this.
I could go on and on about all the things I love about Hong Kong, but the proximity of hikes with gorgeous views to that sleek skyline will never get old. Your vlogs really capture the essence of Hong Kong! @stitchfoldsaw
I’ve just watched this vlog as I’m going to Hong Kong in the 25th February really can’t wait now after watching this I’m actually planning to see most of the places you went to with a few temples throw in Again what a brilliant vlog
My favorite thing about Hong Kong is the sense of peace, comfort, and belonging when I’ve travelled back. Hong Kong is the only place I did not feel homesick and wanted to fly home. I see the brother and sister resemblance. I’m not on social media, so no IG.
Despite being a small country, it is so surprising that it has managed to maintain the natural yet futuristic aspect. It's indeed a citythat will leave you breathless, bewildered, and wanting more (especially more dim sum). I suddenly remembered the time when I was there while filming one of our TV show episode. I have enjoyed the time I spent there.
Thank you for this video! Amazing, it reminded me of many parts of hong kong where I have walked. you really go away from hong kong but he never leaves you.
Even though I was in HK for all of November, this has made me feel SO nostalgic (the music definitely helped!). I live right by the East Coast Park Precinct but haven't been back since 2019, so it was awesome to spend a lot of evenings just sitting by the water and enjoying the view! Loved the 'yum cha' cheers btw 😂 Happy new year to you both!
Hello hello Sam and Victor, my name is Ai from Tokyo Japan. 🗼 My hubby and I have traveled to HK 7 times, but there are so much to do there!!! We always enjoy watching your RU-vid channel thinking where to go next time when we are there. 😘 My favorite thing about HK is that old and new existing in harmony in HK way and that is the best way!!! Eastern and Western styles blends in like a perfect cup of latte, oh HK. Never enough! We just feel GOOD AND ALIVE being in HK. I ABSOLUTELY WANT one of the neon written in kanji 漢字!!! I’ve been looking for one but I haven’t found any. It’ll be so so cool if I can get one in my living room, there’s a spot for it, actually 🥳 I have a little personal vlogs on my RU-vid channel and Japanese people love HK ❤ It’ll be so cool in I could bump into you guys next time we are there or in Tokyo one day. Cheers! 🎉🎉
Your vlogs are the best. I love the music you chose for these videos. Could you also include the songs you used in the description? The songs are pleasantly calming. Your videos also have a lot of useful information. I watched that several times just to make sure I take notes of all detailed information (like the recommended restaurants or places to visit). Keep up the amazing work.
I discovered this channel when I was researching my last trip to Hong Kong. Thank you for showing this side of HK! I miss HK so much despite going there 14 times haha! My favourite thing about Hong Kong is definitely the sounds. Something about the “tik-tak tik-tak” crosswalk sound,“Please mind the gap. doot doot doot”, is so iconic to me. Love your channel! Fellow Canadian, @tofutiffie
Superb video. You have set a new level- the camera angles; the contrast between place ; the fun and the serious; the sped up filming and split screen- I congratulate you both ❤❤❤
So good to see Victor’s sister & boyfriend in the vlog! Definitely looks like you all showed them a great time! In love with Darkside…love a good jazz club. ❤
The video is well presented. I can say this in the sense that it gives a warm vibe. It's enticing and heartwarming. I couldn't wait for my HK holiday trip and watch the NYE countdown there. Any tips from the viewers? Have a great day every day to the vloggers.
Dining & shopping in Hong Kong have been famous for years, and there should be many visitors enjoying this. But the repressive politics and sterilization of HK are discouraging tourism, despite denials from HK's government. HK is trying to increase tourists from Mainland China to fill hotels and restaurants--and that is so obvious. Beijing ended up sterilizing Hong Kong to silence dissent / Free Speech. Denials on this fail.
